@@torranlegrand3094 Also shit take, because draw 2 from C is equivalent of draw 2 from TTT because it still requires an opponent action. PoG requires nothing, you can draw 2 even if the opponent bricks on no plays whatsoever.

tournament setting where you have a guaranteed going first and up to 3 duels =/= ladder coin flip bo1. would be straight up miserable and if you don’t think so idk what to tell u
@@empresscarrie6230BO1 is even more miserable with Maxx C legal. Losing to a single card in a BO1 doesn't make it feel any better than losing to it in a BO3 where the chance of you losing to it 3 games in a row are very low. This is the most stupid cope I've ever seen.
Most meta decks already run 3 nibs. I don’t think 40 cards Branded runs Nib but 60 does, snake eye runs Nib so does Lab and SHS. Legit only Tearlaments and Pendulums don’t play nib but again they don’t play any handtraps whatsoever. Maxx c slots won’t be filled by already played Nib.

You should do a meta tourney with the current meta and last 10 metas are at full power. Each entry gets to pick a meta and enter with that deck. It would be fun to see which meta would been a true tier 0.

On SHS vs Mathmech, was it not possible to double attack with Transcode via Crystal Heart? I'm not familiar with mathmech but i did use access code otk in the past. I saw someone comment on the stream but it seems it was too late and Dkayed missed it. I would have liked to hear his thoughts on it. It prolly would still not be game since snow is there.
IMO every time i get MAXX C'd i just play through right through it with Snake -Eyez . I still win most times because my end board is still good and unless they drew kaijus and lava golems or DRNM it just the same but they get some extra cards
Not going to lie thought banning maxx c would have a terrible effect but honestly it was the complete opposite more fun to watch and probably more fun to play I think we just need to ban max
It just makes the format more predictable, that's why all these top TCG players hate Maxx "C" because they hate all the luck-based factors. If something can't be predicted through an excel sheet these people will hate it, that's why so many of them are boring idiots.
It’s also from a Combo deck player perspective (most notably SE right now) that have a bias take for wanting it banned because it’s one of the few single card outs against the deck on turn 2.
Branded still is the best board breaker meta deck. With Super Poly and Albaz it can - almost - break every field imaginable. I’m surprised there’s not a lot of SHS, with maxx c banned I think it’s the best deck as they only have Droll to worry about and they can play through Nib like it’s nothing 🤷♂️
Enjoyed the heck out of this tournament live, much better duels overall without Maxx C around to take up deck space, eat interruptions, or otherwise ruin people's turns. No idea how different it is behind the scenes for you or the players in regards to time, but I definitely wish you would do this "no Maxx C" tournament more often, preferably once EVERY month, instead of just every 3 months as you suggested in the intro (or hopefully Konami will just ban it finally and then not have to worry about it, maybe tourney's like these can give them a showing that the game is fine/better without the roach).
Keep this up! Make a community banlist tournament and implement the changes youkeep talking about like having then 2nd player start with 6 cards and not draw on turn 2.
Super entertaining games, the SE vs ignoble knight games were super questionable yet hilarious. I'm all for having a no maxx C tournament every 2-3 months. I definitely prefer watching a tournament where no player gets sacked out of playing by the roach (specially going second). The only downside is that chat was flooded with really bad takes.
Don't see why Maxx C can't just be banned for every tournament. At least every other one. It makes for an infinitely better viewer experience. Regardless what you think of the card, no one likes to watch a game decided by Maxx C.
Can confirm exo is the best counter to snake eyes 🫣 Get rid of the 3x aratama and put 3x exo arment for crazy extenders and cut of the GY right away on their turn and banish anything left or negate with the continuous spell or gibrine
Snake Eyes easily. Their turns are way longer and it’s another GY centric combo deck that plays during both turns with way more overtuned cards then Lab lol
The amount of grind games in this tourney was so fun to watch! Hopefully they finally ban MaxxC in the game, that card is toxic as long as there are no conditions to use it, making the 1st turn player even stronger if he has it.

Cards that are used in >10% of all decks are obviously too generic and should be banned. Also cards that search other cards should always be limited to 1.
it would cause just think your opponent did full combo and ou prepared to break the board and they activate maxx c with that ruling at least that would happen and i think the 3 summons is to far cause b that time the person might have a crazy board already@@FrostReave
@@cheslyndaniels4387 I don’t want to be rude but I’m gonna be honest with you. This is a bad take. Maxx C is a unhealthy broken card because it gives infinite card advantage or force your opponent to pass their turn. If it’s gonna get an errata it needs to be one that fixes these problems. Your suggestion does nothing. The suggestion I referenced would give you something to play around.
Even if you make it main phase only with no cards on your field and only trigger on special summons it would still be broken, just take it to the back of the shed at that point cause why bother with adding so many stipulations it reads like a completely different card only for it to still be busted
if maxx c is so unbalanced what about the syncro cards or xyz cards that shut down your entire turn leaving you unable to do anything and not even getting started on flood gates @@jimtsap04
I don't see why people would argue about maxx C. If Konami allows it then just play the game and shut up, otherwise leave. Imagine people at the OCG whining like you guys for 10 years straight.
