I watch alot of DIY videos and thrift videos, but what I like about yours is just that you're so real. No fake acting. You just show what you do and show real life. I think people always prefer seeing somebody who is real and don't act fake. Great job on your items.

Julie you remind me of Mary Poppins when she keeps pulling things out of her bag !!! I love it. You always find such good stuff and I love what you do with them.

The coffepot thing is a grease/oil saver. The strainer on top keeps big stuff from falling in.

I use wooden spools from thread as feet ...looks really cute, and, if their too tall just cut them in half and glue them on.

Idea - when you paint the lg ceramic coffee pot for flowers. Bury the lid down inside in case the customer wants to use it later for something with the lid.

I wish I had a dollar for every time she said “paint it white” or “put flowers in it”!! Perfect for a T-shirt.

Love the bread box..I had 3 bread boxes in 2007 and everybody kept bugging me for them .I liked my older one. It had the flat top where I put my spieces and it had a shelf inside it and a built in slide out cutting board. I gave it to a lady who had a fire and had 3 kids and a cat that always ate her bread.

Large battery operated candles would look adorable in the bird cage !!!

That base with the four legs would be cute turned into as a hat tree. Build a small box for shoes, gloves, or dog leashes, and then incorporate a wooden pole, and add hat hooks.

Those blue three wire brackets would make a great headboard, painted and covered with little clothes pins to hold pictures in a teens room

The tall glass jug with silver top is called depression glass made by wexford. Probably from between the 30's and 40s. Just fyi. Great haul.

The metal 3 piece set hang them on your door as a wreath. I have a bigger one and put pails from dollar tree and put flowers in them. At Easter I had spring flowers and crosses in one of the pails and eggs flowers and bunnies in the other one.

I’ve been watching some of your older videos I hadn’t watched, and in this one I was laughing at you disparaging grandmas! Twice! Granny chic is actually “in” depending on where you live. I’ve been eyeing that little wooden desk (?) behind you and am waiting for you to see what you do with it! This was a great haul.

Those metal frames with the hideous flowers were actually a gold frame because I still have them. They came from home interiors which was a house party sort of like Tupperware that came and sold stuff to a party of ladies. I have a set that came from my mother.

February 2023, and recovering from covid and watching your posts I have never seen before. I just started watching your channel when you moved to Mississippi. I am from Laurel, Mississippi. Canister set goes with the plates that you you didn’t get in a previous post that I saw. The plates were beautiful and had no cracks. They were country. People in Mississippi Are Country When Country Wasn’t Cool and are still country. The Caviar dish looks like a spaceship. I have never had and don’t plan on eating any Caviar unless I am starving. Julie, you make me want to go thrifting and to garage sales more, but I am disabled and on a very limited income. I found some very beautiful brass pieces at and antique mall on Hwy 49 S of Hattiesburg, Mississippi below Camp Shelby two years ago. I had a tax return check and that day was a 50 % day off. I got some a box of beauty brass pieces for $ 50.00. This place had so many beautiful booths of and array of items From A to Z. The Dabber Dan is located on I-59 at the Evelyn Gandy Exit (HWY 42 in Hattiesburg located on the service road. You can see it from I-59.) I bought my complete set of the burgundy Magnolia Dishes that Walmart carried several years ago. Walmart sold out of them and I was only able to get a four piece set of the green Magnolia set when Walmart had them. I was so happy when I came across the 12 piece complete set.

Those two, heavy, ornate, Metal Frames with the florals are originally from Italy. I have two of the exact same that my father had brought back from a visit to Italy. I also popped out the glass and did something different. They are very beautiful.

The cake pan idea is so cool. Makes me think to make one then make a hinged cushion to create the foot stool but then a little stash area under the cushion.

Love watching when you go shopping. It makes me feel like i have been shopping and i didnt spend any money. I have so many things from my growing up home you give me ideas to spruce it up. I love doing what you do too i dont have a business but if i show stuff on fb people go crazy. Im also very creative been that way all my life. I live in Amarillo Texas and there are lots and lots of places to get junk.

I love those kind of garage sales where is a donation situation. I just went to one and got a ton of fun stuff. I admire you and your ability to resist if you don't really need it but you like it, or you have too much to do. That's really hard to do. Love your channel so much. You are a inspiration to us all. I love the transom. The glass helps to hold the muntin in shape so you might want to leave the glass. The two panel door is awesome!!

You use it to put your used grease in and the little insert is to strain the oil.

That large wood base with legs would look good with one of those big spindles one it and make one shorter to make a set of very large risers. Would look beautiful for a wedding with flowers and greenery draping down from the tops.

The thing with the strainer (looks like a coffee pot) is for straining your bacon grease to save.

Hi there Julie, the blue distressed frames have enough squares to be advent calendars. Drew at Lone Fox likes using alcohol ink to change/disguise the colour of metal objects eg the rainbow- tarnished silver 'trays'.

I put garden books in the casserole trays.

My mom had the same gold planter in the ‘60’s with her colonial furniture! Paint it white and put legs on it-will make a beautiful planter for long dining room or cocktail table!!!
