It'll be better for West Bengal to not just be fully dependent on Kolkata. It must have the utmost importance, but there must be cities to supplement it.

It is Andal airport - this small airport is only for domestic use, opened recently and services passengers to Delhi, Bangalore etc. places. 2nd. AMRI hospitals were merged with Manipal Hospitals about a few months back. You may want to consider change that part in the presentation. Thanks.
Brother, At 10:40, I believe you have missed mentioning the Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport (RDP) at Asansol & Durgapur , which is currently in operation. Flights to Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Ahmedabad are being operated by Indigo as of now.

What happened to the Jalpaiguri gravel "airport" that had non-stop flights to CCU and often flew direct rather than dog-leg? 😉No radar, lower fuel consumption and fun for the kids on-board admiring sandbanks from above in an "unpressurized" tube! The flights where cargo (tea, oranges, etc.) were loaded first and then the remaining space for pax. Come back in the evening (or next day) for the next flight if you weren't seated.

Couldn't use wifi @ kolkata airport because I didn't have my Indian no. while I was going home from aalborg to agartala . Compared to kolkata airport, delhi ( domestic airport) is far better. At least I was able to stay connected using my email Id that i used to access wifi.
We have to develop more cities in East India and North east India ....Kolkata is overburdened being the only metro city in that part ...... last time I went to the city, I shared a taxi with two other gentleman ...one from Katihar and other from Agartala .....both had come for cardiac check ups as most of the super specialty hospitals are also in Kolkata ....we have to make more cities

The problem lies with the current government of West Bengal; unless the government changes, significant development won't be achieved. Kolkata is still behind than other cities in India like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad or Delhi.

Now bring the likes of Lufthansa and British Airways back, I am fucking sick and tired of flying 16 hours straight from Dallas to Doha or Dubai just to get to Kolkata.
