if tripods would be real first of all they have shields that protect them from known projectiles that we humans use but the thing is we can do Mine warfare or use ied's to blow the tripods legs and cause it to fall then steal technology and use it against the tripods and we can blow up skyscrapers and make them fall onto the tripods and destroy them we can even make the tripods fall into Giant Holes hell we can drones to run at the tripods and destroy them maybe it might work idk didn't see the building that the tripod fell get blocked
