I follow Ryan because he's down to earth.. .. Support him by purchasing one of his ITEMS.. I got a Key tag.. And will definitely be buying a few more products.. THANK YOU RYAN..!
Another great video, after watching this channel and seeing your trucks I been wanting a truck and finally got my first truck today its nothing compared to yours but it's a good truck for my first truck, thank you so much for the inspiration💪#workforit
You guys just hate. Not every truck is made for hauling, mud bugging, rock climbing, etc. If you spent half as much time helping veterans and your fellow man instead of ragging on these guys, you might have a better life.
@@strangefruit8776 You're right. If you search on youtube you will not find many videos of exagerated lifted trucks like these offroading like they seem to be.
I LOVE the tail lights on your ride. I’ve got almost the same ones. Unfortunately, they’re illegal in VA. Idk about Cali but we get pulled constantly here for crap like that. Smh
It's astonishing how guys pay big $$'s on a truck that has been engineered to work then let 4 wheel drive shops talk then into all the aftermarket BS ruining their trucks. This one is illegal just for the height alone. You can tell with all the dirt what kind of truck these Princess really need.
What's hilarious is how "dirty" they describe their truck, like, bro, that's dust, not dirt, if they think dust is dirty then they definitely have never done real hauling
Asking a show truck to work is a bit much. None of the upgrades are designed to make the truck a work truck. How do you get stuff in and out of the bed on a daily basis as high as it is, or is it strictly a boulevard cruiser built to look good?
Hypertech tuner and programs your truck without messing with your emissions but I've always just set it back to factory even when I go to hit the sniffer and Gale Banks has a lot of bolt ons
@@whosmansisthis1894 no some people are smart and know that millions of dollars were spent to design trucks to handle and tow properly. I'd rather have a truck that is safe, dependable and useful as can be. Don't worry it's okay I used to be young and dumb also.
@@damonlemasters3424 Exactly. Some people don't use or understand UTILITY. Those trucks are built up like that solely for LOOKS, which they believe make them cool. Personally I never wanted to be in the circus, but to each their own LOL. Those trucks never go off road and would fail if they did in serious terrain. They can't safely tow anything of size. They drink fuel at a ridiculous rate. I guess if they like to take 100K and throw it out the window to TRY and impress people... have at it! I could have one of those trucks or a Carrera S... hmmmmm tough choice. ONE thing is for certain. In 10+ years down the road.... they won't be driving those giant piles of trash =]
Oh and most importantly a good relationship with your smog guy. Mine does everything and youd never know his shop existed. Was a 68 dollar smog but worth it compared to the hack shops, plus they did do a single dyno run. He wouldn't tell me the numbers but he had a smile on his face. To this day I dont know the power of the truck. Has a bigger turbo and a fuel system. And it may spin the clutch in 3rd at full boost. Too bad I sold it for a pig.
He's a construction contractor to present day... merch and RU-vid doesn't pay that well... but it all started with him doing construction... now he runs and bids the jobs ! And he doesn't do that much of other people's trucks.. only his buddies and maybe other RU-vidrs...
If I was him I would loose the coilover in favor of the air bag, but he would then need to fab up a bracket to hold the new shock he would then require. Only hard part with cantilever kits is they mess with how spring rates work due to the lengths of the arms. For anyone other than bulletproof to mess with it, unless they have the right software it would lead to a different ride characteristic and likely not as good as it was before. But in the end they could ride about the same when the air bag and shock setup as it does now with the coilovers if done correctly.
The paint matched fender flares look fire! Carlos's truck is beautiful, especially since it gets used. His overall height and look is perfect, personally id put larger tires on it but still, two orgasmic trucks. It be like that sometimes.
Needs to ditch the shit cantilever system. It's a perfect example of over engineered pavement princess shit. If you're never going to use your truck for a truck then go for it but for him, he needs to rethink his choices.
I used to run the off-road diesel in my 96 7.3 stroker, if I used ultra low sulphur it banged, not just knocked, I had to use . 5 gallon per 20 gal of cetane booster
Hey man met you in vegas i had the broken arm but i have a 2002 7.3 and it has no emission laws due to its year where i live, i have mine straight pipe and it sounds amazing!
Exhaust, turbo, tune, my 01 24 valve was obd1. Just needed to have a muffler and no black smoke, no tuner (that they can see, but a 6 gun on a common repurposed knob will go unnoticed. Lmao)
There’s a lot you can do with a early 2000’s 7.3s. All of the 7.3 do not have egr coolers. I think some didn’t have catalytic converters till late 2003 when ford switched over to the 6.0.
@@cjchico The ones with manual trans did have cats, and there were also some autos that also had cats. I believe those were early 99s. The 99.5-03 autos had no cats.
I have a 99 F350 with the 7.3 and if you buy one that wasn't an original California truck then under the hood there's a sticker that should say "non-catalyst" which means you can literally run a 5 inch straight pipe from the turbo. Mine is a California truck so it has the "Catalyst" sticker and makes the smog guys check to ensure it still has a Cat on it. Other than that, that is the only smog item.
I know I’m gonna sound like a hater. But this what happens when city slickers make there diesels a mall crawler............plus if your pulling something that big. Should of Bought a duly. You gonna regret it. Trust me from experience.
What I find hilarious is how these guys now are as wide as a dually too. A heavy duty truck is already wide enough to require extra caution to stay in your lane and especially on older streets with very narrow lanes.
So, I was wondering what rear traction bars are you running for your rig and what kind of of rear suspension? Have to change mine out because it is like riding on bricks.
Replace the coilovers with air struts. You'd still have the damping of a strut, but the variable spring rate of the coil. Yes, I know they're not as pretty as a coilover, but that'd be the quickest fix. The hydraulic shock may not work because it appeared to be above the coilover, so it won't change the spring rate, i.e. the coilover would still bottom out. OR, if he can get a coilover that has a longer travel, it could then not bottom out. With a 1400lb tongue weight, you'd need just over 2" more travel on a 600lb spring to not bottom out
My dad has a 2002 7.3 that he’s had since it was new, the automatics didn’t come with catalytic converters from the factory, and no egr so they didn’t come with emissions. Unlike his lml lol
