HUGE Update News in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Star Path Items, Mulan Realm Reveal and MORE! 

Wow, can't wait for the update. Even though I play on switch, I'm excited. Sure the item limit is a pain....but I don't need, or want, to clutter up my valley with as many items as I can possibly fit. As long as I like the way it looks I'm happy. And maybe one day our limit will be equal to everyone elses. Until then I make do with what I got😊

I'm definitely excited especially for the dresses, they look awesome and with both male and female versions + the Kites and lanterns too

They managed a beautiful 3D render of Ariel so I demand justice for Belle and Mulan 😭😭😭

Remember, Relams are "safe" spaces already dreamlight villagers ran too during The Forgetting. To escape the chaos and to not disappear into the Here and There (like Minnie), the villagers trapped themselves in what their cannon worlds were at the time. You are actually going into their pocket dimension and pulling them out! So it makes sense why certain characters are showing up and not. That would mean those where the only ones who actually lived in the valley

Nah, you're right. Mulan's looking a little doofy. She was already animated for a game nearly 20 years ago in Kingdom Hearts 2, and I thought she looked totally fine there. Same with Belle. But what do I know? ☺

Yow, Ling, and Chim Po (sorry if the spelling in wrong) are Mulan's army firends. I don't think they'll be there, otherwise we would have had Lumère and Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast realm, Timon and Pumba from The Lion King relam or any of the other toys from Toy Story realm. I figure, if you can't bring them to the valley, then they're not there!

If they give us multiple cherry blossom trees just added to the trees that would be amazing. that is the kind of game updates we need that add to the whole game, not just for a short term update related to a character. I would also love is this added to the overall storyline like maybe it opens to an expanded new area off the side of the Glad or Trust or beyond the forgotten lands where the cherry blossoms grow that is what we need. I will just be happy if the glitches are fixed though.

Mulan was 3d in wreck it Ralph 2 . It can be done. They have already made 3d models of the princess’ that look good

You need to play kingdom hearts or watch Wreck-It Ralph 2 princess scene both those have a 3D Mulan and many other princesses

Unfortunately those of us on switch can't really decorate our valleys to the way we want x

when we was having the expansion pass i really thought that scrooge’s shop would hold different items in it, like when it potentially has new items in it every day but with this i was expecting 2 shops with different items in them and not the same things when you go in one then the other, not going to lie i was very disappointed spending all of that money on upgrading the shop to highest it can be only to have the same items!

Will they use the actual song "I'll Make a Man out of You" for this realm, or will they use a soundalike? (soundalike music of "I'll Make a Man out of You" have been used as spoofs in other works like The Amazing World of Gumball, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and Super Mario Galaxy 2)

its just hard to make them look good in 3d? ...both mulan and belle look fine in kingdom hearts.

Previews will be Monday and Tuesday but it could have just been 1 video like the last update so not impressed with the preview style. The items are cute though the shoes are cute

This outfit for Mulan should be her regular outfit and the dream style should either be her full armor or the matchmaker outfit. Those are so much more dynamic. Even her training outfit is better than this. 😢

It's not hard to turn a 2D character into a 3D model. You can literally just sculpt on top of a flat image in some programs, allowing you to make 1:1 models that look really good. There's videos on here you can watch of people doing just that, usually turning a piece of their own artwork into a 3D model. Why they're not doing that, and just making "meh close enough" models annoys me, since it doesn't require that much effort if you know what you're doing. She looks wrong because her eyes are HUGE, way bigger than they should be. When the game's focus is about the characters, it's insulting that they don't put extra effort into perfecting their looks, their lines, their personalities, and their quests. It feels just thrown together, get the intern to do it kind of work.

Mulan has such an ugly design, it's disappointing that they don't put love into the work that goes into her dress, it's just straight lines, I know they can do it better, but Mulan is the worst thing they've done so far
