Your welcome! Although I'm not a Hugh fan, I still appreciate your skills and effort. Those are screen times for S3. I have the eps on files so I can zip through them pretty fast, I just timed the scenes. I think this points out how hard it is to believe in the tryst, Demelza was really sleeping with a stranger. I don't think Debbie made the case for an emotional connection because everything was so rushed. The only possible motivations for Demelza's betrayal are pity and revenge. Demelza has risk a lot for a one time roll in the sand. The adaptation was so different from The Four Swans. Almost nothing came from the book other than the names in the last 3 episodes. In the book the tryst lasted 18 months, even though Hugh was away in the Navy half the time. The adaptation seemed like 18 days. :)) I didn't like Debbie adding the lines of Ross pushing Demelza away. In the book Ross and Demelza didn't love each other less, which I thought made the tryst more compelling. I also didn't care for Demelza becoming the aggressor in her own seduction... ie suggesting the walk, kissing him first, and hand up dress. Choosing to do it behind the house where she played with the kids seemed slutty to me. I really thought George or Ross would find them in the weeds. Hope you do some more next season.... thanks again!
