Actor Hugh Jackman has received a Golden Globe nomination for his role as P.T. Barnum in the new movie musical “The Greatest Showman.” He tells TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie “it’s a perfect movie for this time of year: It’s for everyone, it’s uplifting.” He also comments on a throwback photo of himself performing as a clown at age 21! SimplyFantastic True he was in Ockahama, Beauty and The Beast. He even started in TV shows in Australia where he met his future wife Debbie . Then he moved to Hollywood starring in XMen in 2000 and starred in 2 rom com's Someone Like You and Kate and Leopold. Very versatile actor and hot

He loved Wolverine. It was just time for him to leave it. The workouts took a toll on him. Otherwise he wouldn't of pushed to make Logan. Logan and The Greatest Showman are his passion projects

This is just the kind of passion and love that this world needs! I started writing a book about Accepting yourself in and unacceptable world, and when I saw this movie this past week, I seriously almost fainted with such high emotions because I had not idea a movie could so powerful. This movie on so many levels confirmed everything I've written in my book this far, and inspired me to push through this writing process and keep at This! I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I LOVE THAT WE CAN SEE THESE sessions of them practicing and feel their passion! THIS IS REALLY WHAT LIFE IS ABOUT.

The footage i've seen so far is so beautiful!!!!! Don't know about major awards like Best Picture, but hope the film won't be overlooked in sets, costumes and cinematography. Just stunning stuff so far.

I don't think it's going to be nominated for anything at the Oscars. Maybe for costumes or sets or best song, but probably not much else. It was completely snagged at the SAG awards and unfortunately it's looking like critics will be against it.

Hands down one of the best movies I have ever seen! I saw it a few days ago and cried 3 times during the movie. Keala Settle is one of the reasons I went to go see it since I am such a huge fan of Broadway. She was absolutely amazing in the movie and so was everyone else in it. I was blown away.

I haven't seen Hugh in a leading role since Real Steel six years ago. So he must be so lucky to be back in his musical roots after a while. The more surreal part is it took almost a decade for him to be paired with Zac Efron since the 2009 Oscars for a movie.
