'What would you take from set?' Robert: Olivia Wilde Hugh: What is up with you?? I'M LITTERALLY LAUGHING IN TEARS OMG I LOVE THESE GUYS SO MUCH :-D :-D :-D
Robert Sean Leonard deserves more roles. He stole EVERY emotional scene throughout this show. The man has been great ever since I saw him in Dead Poet's Society
I agree - House's bizarre actions and behavior worked well only because of the way RSL played Wilson so straight down the line while remaining a loyal friend. Wilson echoed the sentiments and reactions that every "normal" person was screaming into their TVs as House went wild west in every episode!
My fantasy is: Wilson starts to get really sick and House takes him to a local hospital. Cuddy is working at that hospital and she cures Wilson. Then she and House get back together and Wilson marries a woman who is just as sweet as he is. And they all live happily ever after.
RSL once said that Hugh and him were both “Eeyores in the Hundred Acre Wood” and when he and Hugh met, Hugh said “You can’t be that guy. I am that guy. There can’t be two guys like that in one set.” It’s like they were born to work together at some point in their lives because their sense of humor was so well-matched, and their personalities completed each other so well. I would give a lot to see them working together just one more time.
Me too! I can't explain this...I m not used to stay in front of the screen for hours ...but...with this TVmovie.....I mean, I watch 'House' every day...I'm addicted!
I think every American remembers where they were and what they were doing when they found out Hugh was British. I was at a Red Lobster waiting for my vanilla bean cheesecake, it seemed to be taking forever to arrive so I watched a couple of RU-vid videos on my phone just to distract myself. I'm not normally so impatient waiting for food but it was getting ridiculous. I watched a Hugh Laurie interview video, I forget who was interviewing him, I guess it's not important. I just sat there looking at my phone totally stunned, I couldn't understand why he was pretending to be an Englishman until I realised he actually WAS and IS an English man. The waitress came over to me and put her hand on my shoulder, she asked me if I was alright. I'm sorry to say i couldn't speak, I just got up and walked out. The waitress's name was Anna, if you're reading this Anna I'm sorry, I wasn't angry at you about keeping me waiting for the cheesecake, the restaurant was busy that day and I understood you were all struggling over there. I hope you and your coworkers can now understand why i left the way I did without saying anything or paying for any of the food I had already eaten.
Robert's hesitancy to barf up a pat answer is just one indication of how intelligent he is. He would make a terrific friend, no doubt, because he'd be both humble and honest.
A little backstory: Hugh Laurie was in a double act with Stephen Fry for about two decades. During that time, Stephen was also very successful working on other projects and became incredibly rich. Hugh was also wealthy, but was a zero or two less wealthy than his colleague Stephen Fry. Then Hugh got House…
Definitely, the "Olivia Wilde" comment was such a House answer and it's hilarious that it came out of Robert and Hugh was taken off-guard. In character it feels like it should be the other way around.
robert sean leonard is very cool actor and i still have hope maybe in 2024 will be movie or 1 episode of house ( because of 20th anniversary but probably not)
Wilson reminds me sm of my dad my dad is a doctor but also he looks so much like him his eyes, his nose, his smile, his glasses, his sense of humour and his clothing style but in it makes me so sad in the end that Wilson gets cancer and dies bc I don't want that to happen to my dad
Sería posible verlo subtitulado al español? Pleasee Hoy por fin he visto el último capítulo de la serie,, llego como 11 años tarde 😂😂 Vivan House y Wilson! 🖤✨
Eight years is a long time for any series. I sometimes thought what a difficult job translators of the show must have in Germany, Italy, France, etc. The medical jargon is quite difficult. Loved the finale. A real Then Came Bronson finish.
I saw the pilot episode a few days ago and MAN were they young! :D Either that or the series aged them just horribly. Put a season 8 photo side by side with photos from one of the first four episodes. It's quite a change!
