What you’re describing is niche perfumery and I loooooove this fragrance it’s not too sweet and it’s well balanced I get a peanut brittle vibe but in a sexy way.
It's a niche release. Cartier means high luxury for confident men who do not worry over trends and mass appealing products. The smell is outstanding : burnt caramel with some fermented dry fruits and smoke and the magic of Cartier ! My next pourchase for sure
I think it’s freggin Amazing !! Smells to me like that pleasant wiff of a cigarette you catch outside in the breeze and from a distance that someone else is smoking, also has this clean and semi sweet touch. Very pleasant to my nose. I Layered this with Cartier declaration parfum and got a random compliment first place I went inside. Granted it was my daughter’s work and my daughter was the one who gave me the compliment, and she reserves her comments only for things she likes. She’s 17 and only comments on my fragrance when it’s appealing not appalling. I give this a 10/10 for its uniqueness. I think it’ll serve as a great layering fragrance to layer with different scents. 👌 Very nice
Chad, I agree 100% with everything that you said about Pasha de Cartier Noir Absolu. I was not expecting the scent to be what it is. I give Cartier credit for creating something different & outside the box but it is not a fragrance that I love. I do not think that it will sell & I will purchase the fragrance if it ever gets heavily discounted because it is unique & good but not great.
Cartier is leagues ahead of most designer brands. I will rather have some creativity, rather than the windex/shower gel dreck, every single designer has to make these days. And the price on this is also much better than other designers.
Tried this last week and agreed Chad, it's niche quality from Cartier. Opening is definitely challenging but drys down pleasant. Could be a signature scent for any Giga Chad or Sigma Male 😎
Tried this during my visit to Amsterdam and I got the same thing on my skin….smells very woody smoky and slightly spicy, a super unique fragrance, I don’t have a matured nose maybe so I didn’t like it
I was excited for this one. The opening was interesting as it’s dark, smokey and sweet. It’s like a wet damp earthy campfire. BUT as it dries it gets super funky on my skin! Smelt like spoiled milk/ice cream. 🤢
@@AGentlemansJourney77 exactly, noir absolu is yet so expensive and less versatile, I let it down. A scent close of Noir Absolu could be Black incense Malaki.
Without being disrespectful when i first sprayed this from my 10 ml travel spray it smelled like urine. I cannot stand this fragrance i had to give it off to my security guard.
No disrespect was taken. Its one that is not for me neither but some people LOVE it. It's a very different fragrance and I think you have to have particular tastes to like this one.
With all due respect, but do you have a large collection and if so why don't you ever record in front of it? Also, y do u usually have samples for reviews? I'm not trying to be offensive but every other reviewer has those things and it just looks like ur not really a collector or deep into the hobby
I have over 300 bottles and when it comes to the new releases I generally do samples/decants because I'm not trying to get all the new releases just for views. Many times where I'm from (Toronto) we don't get the newest releases as quickly as the US or Europe does. And when it comes to why I don't film in front of my collection is because I live in a condo and not an actual house space is limited and everything is stored in my fragrance cabinets.
