I can't say that I am a fan of a cartier, but after your cartier presentation, that fragrance is somewhere at the top :) I hope that I have a chance to try it soon. Again, thank you for your inspiration!
Pasha Noir Absolu is easily my favorite designer fragrance of year so far, apart from Terre D’Hermes Eau Givree which is a completely different fragrance dimension. It is a great date fragrance for those who are confident enough to pull it off. Smells niche, confident, experienced, seductive and classy. Opening for me is tobacco, vanilla, rum, lots of chocolate and wood. It’s a warm, smoky almost gourmand, a bit like Margiela’s by the fireplace, but more like Cuban cigar smoke than charcoal. Dry down is more subtle but this beast performs. The following day your clothes will smell awesome.
Love this video! Love the Cartier line and my favorite is Pasha de Parfum hands down. Compliment beast and attention magnet. I just purchased the Noir Absolu and will give my thoughts once I wear it a bit. Great line. Great video. Great juice all the way around!
The mother recently got me pasha de Cartier edition noir a couple months back when she was on vacation .. dude it completely blew me away so good it goes down the direction of like a very very mature Abercrombie and Fitch fierce but in an amazing refined elegant way of that scent with the green tinges it’s so so good!
Excelente resenha, Max. Há alguns anos, Pasha e Declaration são 2 dos meus favoritos e amo os demais Santos, Must, Must Essence. Que bom que você gosta e propaga sobre essa grife incrível. Parabéns pelo trabalho e ótimo 2024 pra você 👊
Max, I LOVE Cartier and I have you to thank. Totally underrated brand and better among the designers imo. my current favourite is Declaration Parfum, but I also sampled Pasha de Cartier Parfum and oh man, unbelievable fragrance!
Great overview! Yet to try the latest release, but it's strange how sometimes the fragrances that take the longest to appreciate eventually become the most adored. Something to be said about relishing the journey. Cartier one of the few designer brands left that I watch closely!
Thank you for doing the whole line up of Parsha De Cartier. I think I will get the Parfum one because it is boozy. You are the Man, no one is bigger than you in this game. Much love my friend!❤
Good commentary. It definitely stands out. It took me three wears to get hooked on LV Ombré Nomade, which is now my fave fall / winter scent. Absolu noir is complex and unique. Great scent.
Max, I've been waiting on this full review! And this was a full review - fantastic job. I learned a lot about an underrated house. You are right on time as my Macy's has it in stock, so planning to get my nose on it this week. Niche uniqueness in a designer brand! Can't wait to test it.
@Mark Tomeh Edward Fry did a great job describing Pasha Noir Absolu. Scroll through the comments and give it a read. While I haven't been able to pickup on many of the notes he is describing, I agree with Edward. To me, it's a burnt wood with caramel pourd over it. It sounds weird but man does it work. The balance between the 2 is outstanding. I think this is a fragrance that many will not understand, but just needs to be given a chance.
I gave the travel size 3 pack to my dad and boy are they strong. One spray and it lingered long after he had left the house after putting it on. He claims it was a single spray every time.
Thanks Max Forti! I thought its odor smelled like a sugar cookie and patchouli. I have tried a lot. I like D. Sauvage, femne Bond no.9 soho, femne Lopez miami glow and Lacoste l.12 blanc. I have not tried Hermes Voyage, YSL y live, Goldfield & banks, Polo Blue Parfum, MFK aquas... Thanks!
I recently developed a fondness for the 2020 release of Pasha and, subsequently, the Pasha Noire. However, the two limited edition versions I purchased did not live up to the same level of satisfaction as the 2020 and Noir editions.
I like many Cartier fragrances, but Pasha are not my thing, not saying are bad, just there's something that just doesn't click with me, but I know the new one is right up my alley, It will be definitely a blind buy, besides I like to be surprised and I really trust your nose Max, I have a very similar taste to yours. Hope you get your hands on the ones you're looking for, thanks for the video Max!!!
They may not be super bold or mind blowing quality but at least they are somewhat different from the rest of designers and at discounters they’re really good value, I’m trying out more and more Cartier colognes and wish I tried the Pasha line sooner!
Wonderful review Max, I own the Parfum version and I am thinking of getting the original EDT version. The Parfum for me smells similar to Ferragamo Spicy Leather Parfum. It also reminds of Ralph Lauren Safari but mixed with vetiver and for that it is a pass for me. I am yet to try the other flankers from Pasha De Cartier. However my favourites from this brand are Declaration Parfum and Santos De Cartier Concentree and now I want to add L'Envol as well...
My All Time Favorites are Pasha de Cartier EDT and Believe it or Not, Woodland From Bath & Body Works 4oz $20 at the time, Have no Idea why they discontinued it, but I Would get as many compliments from Woodland as I did from Pasha which sounds absurd but I'm not kidding both stuck with you the entire day and When we're Talk about fleeing fragrances these 2 are definitely not those and the instant Aura when you walk into a room, "Oo, Someone Smells Good" Same comment all the time Like clockwork
…well, i’m going to have to sample new Noire Absolute…attracted by charred woods and caramel, concerned about ashy note and opening which has been real issue for others…have never tried line but drawn to og and NA…usually can trust exp to blind-buy but perhaps better to sample both…(blind-bought Declaration which is ok but too green herby for me)…
