I want to commend you for still reviewing these graphic tablet devices because there is one thing that I would like to stress to the young artists starting out. I'm an old fart at 59. I have been illustrating and creating graphics for well over 40 years. I have seen it all and tried most of it. I have fallen victim to the trendy equipment, fallen prey to the over inflated media hype and have come away with many lessons learned. (This does NOT make me some expert of course because if I never learned anything,...or at least SOMETHING...... in my 40 years of designing then that would just mean I'm an idiot!!!) I would just say to the young folks or new artists starting out that this YT Channel is really doing you all a huge service in highlighting not just the Graphic Displays (Devices that you draw on and see what you are drawing simultaneously) BUT ALSO the Graphic Tablets (Devices you draw on and look at another connected device to see what you are drawing). Do not be fooled into thinking that the Graphic Tablets have no real value or that they are lesser than the fancier more expensive counterpart Display devices. Quite the contrary. Many long time digital artists are now starting to experience some serious health issues from using the display devices,...INCLUDING iPads, Surface Pros, Android Tablets and Wacom's etc. Yes,...it's true! Issues with moderate to severe pain in the nerves, tendons, joints, and even the spine are starting to surface as we work on these devices with terrible posture and body positioning! This is not to say that this didn't happen some of to our creative professional forefathers and sisters who labored over the old Hamilton Drawing boards perhaps tilted at poor angles not conducive to good posture. But let's be honest,...today we are tempted by MUCH more in the way of tech tools that open the door to some horrible positioning of the neck and spine when used improperly for long periods of time. Between our crappy phone devices and these tablets for drawing, we are opening the door to some real ugly collateral damage to our health. These graphic tablets DO require some practice with eye and hand coordination and feel less natural right out of the box for many as opposed to looking down on a Graphics Tablet as you draw directly on the screen but once you master it,....you may actually be better off in the long run! I saw where some artists drop kicked their expensive Wacom's for a nice Graphics Tablet and set up their work area by propping the graphics tablet on a small stand directly in front of them on a slight angle and then as they drew on it would be in a position where their head and eyes would be looking straight ahead at the monitor in front of them as they worked. They reported much relief to their severe neck pain and even eye strain after about a week of doing so. What I have learned from this too is 1) The Graphic Tablets are actually really portable and oh so convenient. 2) There is something to be said about working from a fixed work area as opposed to flopped around on a poorly supported chair or loveseat. 3) This also is conducive to keeping my "work" and my leisure separated so that when I'm away from my work area I'm "ALL IN" with my family and not constantly in front of some bright drawing screen in some stupidly awkward position. 4) These graphic tablets are so much easier on my budget and they provide a really satisfying tactile pen/paper type of experience without the need for screen covers etc. 5) There are far less things to break and die on you with these tablets over the Display units. Of course we can still get out of physical alignment with our phones but honestly I think for those that really do the art thing for a LIVING....you will understand that sometimes just by fixing 50% of the problem's source you can solve a lot of things. All this rambling to say that we must understand that these Graphic Tablets are just as "Professional" as the fancy shmancy Displays that are so often touted as the only way to go for "Pros". Don't discount these seemingly simpler tools. You never know,..your eyes, neck and spine may thank you years later!

I couldn't agree more. I started out with Intuos 1 and spent years saving a chasing the perfect device, aka pen display. I do enjoy it but there is something very simple about just sitting with your back straight and using a pen tablet. Its unreal to me that you can get this kind of performance at this price. I think even if you have a pen display, you should have both to give yourself a break. Thanks for the thoughtful comment!

100% right, I have an huion kamvas 13, and I have it with an stand plus some boxes so it can be higher, the thing is, is the display is at almost eyes height, you will get shoulder pain (because you need to lift your arm constantly), if you lower it, neck pain, if you just look down to not get neck pain, eye strain. If you just draw a couple of hours a day, probably won't hurt you, but if you use it everyday, 6 to 8 hours a day, you don't need even a week to start with some pain.

I think if you are drawing 8 hours a day, you need a larger display on an arm. I’ve got terrible neck problems. There is no way I could do it.

@@CreateNowSleepLater I'm using the kamvas 13 as normal tablet now, only using it with the screen mode for tight line drawing, planning to buy a second monitor because I'm using one half of my monitor (24") for references and the other half for the actual drawing lol.

One thing I wish these more popular brands would go for are options with actually less features and more quality. Me and a lot of professionals have gotten used to using keyboard shortcuts so we don't have to re-adapt when changing tablets, so buttons and scroll wheels are useless, we just turn it all off. And we prefer the reliability of wired rather than worrying about battery life of wireless devices. We also just use the tablet on our desktops and don't need portability and phone integration features. Stripping all these features and offering a completely basic device would cut a lot of costs that could be reallocated towards durability and performance. And I think Huion is aware of this workflow pattern cause they recently released a tablet with a keyboard instead of side buttons. I wouldn't go for it cause again, I already have an actual keyboard, it's just wasted expense, but I appreciate the attempt at shaking things up a bit and would love it if they did the same with a clean professional device.

I haven’t reviewed the RTP 700 but I haven’t seen the sensitivity issues either. The polling rate is improved, I’m not sure you would feel the difference though. The RTP 700 is more money, if you have doubts about the inspiroy 2 and have the extra money, go with the RTP 700 I guess. I do t delete comments and haven’t heard the sensitivity issue though.

@CreateNowSleepLater 2 месяца назад
@leahscontemporary polling or report rate is how fast the hardware talks to the computer. Tablets used to be a lot slower. I don’t think it’s a big deal now that they are so high.

I love this review! I have browsed the comments on this one, and haven’t seen too many people asking about the nib of the pen. Right now, I’m using an XP-Pen Deco Pro and PA1 stylus. I love the tablet, but the pen nib wobble and retraction are killing me. I’m really looking for something more stable - as close to a fixed “apple pencil” type nib as possible. - If you get the time, could you describe the retraction and nib in more detail? Does it wobble or jiggle much? How about the retraction? Have they found a way to really minimize it compared with other past pens? Thanks for the great review!
@CreateNowSleepLater

You mean the nib physically moves? The nib on this is very firm.

@@CreateNowSleepLater That's what I wanted to hear. I bought the tablet based on this review along with a few other reviews. I'm excited to give it a try. Your review really caught my attention because, I was actually running searches for the best tablet pens. I started out mostly on my ipad with apple pencil and was so used to the fixed and stable feeling of the nib on the apple pencil. However, after getting used to it, I realized I actually prefer the upright posture of drawing on a tablet and looking straight ahead - much better for the disk in my neck. I picked up my XP-Pen about a year ago, but I think I started outgrow it in terms of the stylus. The nib retraction and wobble hinder me a little. One drawback of XP-Pen tablets is that the stylus models they offer are not interchangeable so I can't upgrade just the stylus. If I could have I would have! I really like the shape and feel of my XP-Pen Deco Pro. Thanks for getting back to me! Cheers!

How does this compare to the Huion Giano G930L and the i don't know if you've ever used the intuos pro large but even so I want to know how drawing on them feels like. I'm looking to get a bigger tablet so I can draw using my shoulder and elbows, i've been drawing with my wrists for 8 years on a wacom intuos comic medium and I kinda want to draw how I normally draw and that's with my whole arm. The medium served me well when I was in college but now I work from home and the medium isn't very good on my hands. Been contemplating on whether I should get the giano or the intuos pro large, but then I see huion releasing a new inspiroy pen tablet. I'm still on the fence about getting a huion tablet since I've never used their tablets before and I've heard a lot of driver issues, pen wobbles, and lack of quality control on their products. While the intuos pro large has a lot of problems like its high cost, expensive nib replacement, nibs running out fast, it seems that getting Wacom intuos pro has a lot of cons going for it for such a high asking price but some do say that the nibs do wear slower as the surface gets worn down. But I want to ask your opinion on what to go for. Larger sizes, durabilty and performance is what I look for in a tablet, its why I contemplated on getting the giano since its huion's pro pen tablet in its largest size but if the inspiroy 2 tablet performs better than the giano I might think about getting this instead. Or should I just save up and get a intuos pro large. I know getting expensive tablets don't make you a better artist, but I at least want to get a tablet that isn't frustrating to use.
@CreateNowSleepLater
@CreateNowSleepLater Год назад
I did review the Giano here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CcrTe2J5Ho8.html but that large is a lot larger than the Inspiroy 2 large. So first, is this too small for you? The Giano is wireless, this isn't so if wireless is a requirement, then go Giano. The pens are very similar, they are the same spec so there isn't really a performance gain there. The one thing this has that no one has is the group keys. On the intuos comparison, I guess it depends on how married you are to Wacom. Some people treat their brands like a religion. I think the Huion drivers have some a long way. They don't really have those same problems anymore so it really comes down to cost. As I mentioned, when you scale up in cost, you either getting features and better build quality. In the case of the Giano or Intuos large, you are getting more tablet. Hope that helps.
@joeyveloso
@joeyveloso Год назад
@@CreateNowSleepLater i'm not married to wacom hahaha just that i'm a believer in their durability. However if there really isn't any performance gained in the pen tablet I might go for the giano. Cause while I don't think the inspiroy 2 large is small, I want to get the biggest possible tablet so I won't ever feel constrained by active area limitations. You can always make the active area smaller but never bigger as they say. Thank you for informed opinion!

@Vercur
@Vercur 7 месяцев назад
The HS611 nib's slightly wobbles, and is worse for left handers. Otherwise it's the same. The wobble doesn't really affect my line art so it's not bad. The left hand part is bad, but I taped a piece of cardboard on top of the touch keys so I don't press them anymore. Otherwise it's mostly the same thing.

@Vercur
@Vercur 5 месяцев назад
@@dark_phoenix8553 If you're a left-hander it's better to buy the newer one, the one with the scroll wheel. Otherwise the difference between the two is not big. The newer tablet pen's uses a newer nib technology more simmilar to Wacom's, and can have felt nibs. But sometimes these "new and improved" nibs also wobble. Though if you pull them out and in again at some point they stop wobbling. Otherwise? The difference is the scroll wheel being more accurate than the slidder thingy. But I don't use any of those anyways so I don't care.
