And this is the weakest Grimlock, in the og lore he’s not only as smart as Optimus but also way stronger. He’s one of the few Cybertronians that can take on him and Megtaron and win.
Seeing Optimus riding Grimlock waving a sword was one of the most epic things ever. Seriously, there are few things more awesome than riding a massive, metal, fire-breathing T-Rex into battle.
The reason why the dinobots get very little screen time is because whenever theyr on screen, the decepticons always get bodied. Gotta make it a faur fight somehow
That’s why they should’ve let the trilogy end the Bayverse. All the strong decepticons were gone when they introduced the dinobots. I’m certain Shockwave and his worm would’ve been a hefty deal for the Dinobots. Maybe star scream too, if he kept it aerial and avoided spike’s attacks.

Tbh they kinda got too much screentime. The problem w/ TLK was lack of tension because autobots were hardwinning throughout the movie. One thing id change is having Grimlock lose to Megatron in a 1v1 but Megs would still have to back off from combined autobot forces. Its just kind of weird how Megatron cant even defeat the autobots when they dont even have Optimus
@@elpenguinoofmexico1388It was probably the surprise attack they had on the Decepticons making quick work of the minions. I can clearly see Megatron handling his own against Grimlock but he’d have to be prepared to leave alone if the fight continued. It was a smart decision.
Cant destroy anywhere else in China bcuz it shows weakness or something. And then China wont let the film be shown there. They got a lot of crappy rules. Hong Kong is also destroyed in Godzilla vs Kong And Dr Strange albeit technically the dmg was reversed but it was destroyed at some point. The funny thing abt Dr Strange is that movie couldnt be viewed in China because of some other censorship
Damn they did Grimlock dirty in this movie and suped up prime like he was on energon steroids! If you’re going to make Grimlock that much taller and beefier then prime then draw out the fight and make it competitive like it would’ve been in the cartoon and comics. If anything Grimlock is usually portrayed as being the stronger of the 2!!
Same here and Realistically Prime would've gotten put on his ass the moment he tried to throw hands with Grimlock he's one of the few cybertronians to give Megatron a run for his money
As cool as this scene is, Prime would never threaten grimlock to justify protecting ppl. I can’t stand Bay verse Optimus, I’m glad Prime from the Prime cartoon exists, he’s arguably the best version we’ve gotten since G1.
He and Optimus never saw eye to eye in war/fall of Cybertron, in the DS version; Grimlock challenges Optimus to a fight to earn the Dinobots recruitment.
Imagine if they appear in Revenge of the Fallen? They would serve as protectors for the Matrix, in the tomb it was hidden in. Instead of the twins, they would be the ones to fight Devastator & be the ones to defeat him. They would later appear again in Dark of the Moon, where instead of the Wreckers, they guard the Xanthium, with Epps as their petsitter. They along the Autobots would charge into Chicago, taking out every Decepticon they seen. It would be awesome to see them against the Driller beast. While it would be funny to see Dylan getting eaten by Grimlock, which would make the audience laugh that someone finally got what they deserved. They still appear in these two films. With Lockdown tracking them to an island they been living in peace since Chicago, as a homage to Animated. Optimus would be glad they are ok, as they’re now prisoners on Lockdown’s ship, before escaping. The Last Knight should give them more screen time. Like having them appear when the Decepticons were at the Stonehenge, where they attacked by the military. Some interactions with the Knights of Iacon, which would be interesting. As well them helping the Autobots to stop Quintessa & Megatron. While seeing them with Dragonstorm, helping Optimus to defeat Infernacus, before charging into the power chamber.
I miss the og auto bots and decepticons but the new ones are still cool and make me laugh. I just they didn't kill so many of them off and just sent some of them on missions off world so these new guys can get more screen time. Rip ratchet

Like there design not everything has to be completely g1 the thing I don't like is they have no personality you barley see them in action and there basically just giant dogs especially Grimlock who is my favorite and a character I like more than Optimus prime which is why I don't like bayverse
I think Swoop (I think they kept the flyer as the g1 name) is mass shifting during his transformation sequence as he seems larger as a robot than in dino mode
I'm still pissed that in a over 2 hour movie we only had 10 min in total of dino bots They clearly used them for the trailer to get more people hyped an into the cinemas Fuck that movie
Even though I absolutely HATE AOE and TLK, these two awful movies did get one thing right, the Dinobots. I wish the Dinobots were introduced in the one of the first three movies thou because movies 1-3 were when the Transformers movies were still in their prime(2007 and DOTM are especially my two favorite Transformers movies of all time).
The problem is obviously they dont need the Dinobots. Optimus can beat the shit out of all of them so why doesn't he just go solve the problem himself?
Anyone notice that Strafes robot form is not proportionate to his dino form. I just noticed that. Edit: I just found out Strafe is apparently little over half the size of Grimlock and Scorn. Which the angels from the valley scene really don't do that justice. I still think Strafe's Dino form should be bigger. His dino form is so slim that its hard to believe that a robot with Strafe's build could turn into it unless he's mostly hollow inside.
