Spoiler alert about the satellites: It is revealed in World War Hulks that the lasers shot by the satellites don't hurt the Hulk (because that wouldn't of worked) but were actually compromised by The Leader to siphon off The Hulk's gamma energy.

In the Avengers: The Initiative tie-in, they reveal they nanobots were replaced with a dud by Hardball, who was blackmailed into doing it by Hydra. It should have been referenced in the main book, though.

I like to think it wasn't just Bruce but Hulk as well who reacted to the news of Cap's death. Aside from the Ultimate universe, Cap always treated Hulk with respect and not like he was just some monster.

What always bothered me was something not actually in WWH but in Bendis' later Avengers run when he did the story arch "Infinity Quest". In WWH, The Hulk outs the Illuminati all together, everybody knows. Civilians and heroes alike. But in Infinity Quest when the Illuminati are trying to find the infinity gems they hid away, all the heroes confront them and they admit all over again that they were a group. And everyone acts surprized...but they already knew.. Its like Bendis didnt like how another writer exposed his group so he reconed it. In good old Bendis fashion lol.

Getting Physical with Ethan's first episode: How Being Mad Doesn't Work Like That. Seriously though, great to see you all get to this. Was not the first comic I read, but was one of the first. It was at least the first "modern" comic I ever read. Really loved it as a kid, and still really like it nowadays. Can't wait for episode 100! :D

I know I’m a few years late to the video, but I wanted to read WWH first before the video. I read Planet Hulk to WWH and read some of the tie-ins and in my opinion with all of it. The story is pretty freaking Awesome, I think Greg Pak is underrated. Even though I didn’t dig New 52 Superman, I liked his action comics run even though it was brief. Great video guys, I’m still watching all the way through :)

I loved how the one of you three who did not even know what Attilan was correctly guessed the method of it's transport to the moon. They did, indeed, use Lockjaw to teleport it to the moon. Great guess!

Oh, good god! This would make an awesome couple of movies to make Hulk a tragic hero turned villain! I mean, imagine if they used this story to kill off a bunch of heroes! It would clear the roster for New Avengers or whatever team! You could even have Hulk die and get replaced by Red Hulk!

I hate that Hulk never actually got any closure at the end of this. Sure he beat lots of heroes up, but he never really avenged his wife or Sakaar.

+Michael Lamar Simeon the book justifies it by saying that Strange doesn't want to kill him, I think they say both that it's because he sees Hulk/Banner as a friend, and that that would taint his soul or something like that

Galactus is actually going to appear in the next few issues of Silver Surfer. It was heavily hinted at, at the end of #8, and the next few issues should be dealing with The Silver Surfer's lady friend finding out about his time as a Herald. Here I am talking about Silver Surfer in the comments again. Don't let me be annoying. Congrats on 50 episodes of Back Issues! I've watched the majority of these episodes, and they have really caught me up on the comic universes. You guys are comic newbie friendly, and I thank you guys for that! This was another fun episode, too!

Can't wait for the Marvel Axis episode whenever that might happen, since it'll likely necessitate an explanation of the Onslaught Saga and the X-Men event Fatal Attractions. Doc Samson and "House of M" Doctor Strange as psychiatrists make me curious about heroes with usual day jobs. I'd love to see a public school teacher who has to deal with their students, "Kindergarten Cop"-style. Bought trade count since I started watching Back Issues: 24. That's almost half!

The deal between Hulk and Banner was Hulk gets the driver's seat in terms of their body, but some of Banner's intelligence is used so they can survive and be rational where it counts (not quite Professor Hulk level smart, but enough so he's more articulate and rational).

I recommend reading Skaar son of hulk and his run up to fighting the world breaker. The writing is more self aware that he looks like Conan and is kind of a wild Tarzan type. His birth and body makes more sense when they explain how it's happened and it's really cool what he does to Sakaar when Galactus gets there

I could be wrong, but I think there's a Hulk story in which Amadeus Cho insinuates that even when Hulk is the dominant personality, Banner works subconsciously with his super-genius calculations to prevent Hulk from killing innocent people.
