my god the sudden shift from "give me all of your power" to "please god take it back" . finally getting wanted he wanted only to realize in the critical moment that he can't handle it and pleads like a child to have that responsibility/weight taken off him . This movie was so ahead of it's time it's not even funny
@@derpderp-np3tr except they already admitted they removed the Hulk as they did because they didn't know how to use him. It wasn't just them establishing stakes if so they'd have had Hulk show up again later.
@@goochipoochie Does mcu hulk have his own movie?? Only one and did worse.. The 2003 movie wasn't a box office and critical failure, lol, it just didn't meet the expectations to warrant a sequel, while toddlers in their moms basement did reviews, those who actually watched and understood it loved it, that's why you are here though you won't admit it, you love the real Hulk... Captain Marvel made almost 1 billion, but we know how terrible it is, just like it's actress
It's never explicitly stated anywhere by the director, but I'm willing to swear that the scene where the Hulk transfers his power was inspired by the Tibetan practice of Chöd, which is based on the teaching that you feed your demons energy through meditation. As a kid I felt a strong connection to this movie, very much a personal experience I saw in it
this movie has everthing; A badass Hulk; Great and deeep story; Great cgi effects for its time, and still good even today; Too bad it flooped, but its already a masterpiece of a movie, not perfect but still a cult movie.
Challenge to CGI nerds: try to improve the movie Hulk CGI to today standards!!! This movie would look way better!!! The story is good, just the Hulk CGI is bad!!!
Marvel is complete woke garbage anymore and anyone talking about Thanos completely forget he’s literally an immortal whose from the “ New Gods”. He’s by far one of the most powerful characters in their original universe. However, 2008 started the downfall of this character especially once Ruffalo got a hold of it.
They have David Banner look like Zzzax briefly before going the Absorbing Man route but he's not really Absorbing Man either since he never actually absorbed anything he really just copied the properties of whatever he touched.
@@shadizersilverhand2113 3:00 "They're absorbing all the ambient energy." That was 2 teratons of tnt within a 3km radius... He absorbed all 22 gigawatts of San Francisco... He's The Absorbing Man, no way around it, lol
@@kaybigg you really failed to understand what I said. In the comics the Absorbing Man does not in fact absorb anything he simply copies the properties of whatever he touches (so his villain name is a misnomer). Meanwhile Banner's father in the movie actually does absorb instead of simply copying properties of what he touches. Understand now?
