Human Cyborg - We’ve all seen Cyborgs in Hollywood blockbusters. But it turns out these fictional beings aren’t so far-fetched.
Human Cyborg (2020)
Director: Jacquelyn Marker
Writers: Kyle McCabe, Christopher Webb Young
Stars: Justin Abernethy, Robert Armiger, John Donoghue
Genre: Documentary
Country: United States
Language: English
Also Known As: Cyborg Revolution
Release Date: 2020 (United States)
Synopsis:
We’ve all seen Cyborgs in Hollywood blockbusters. But it turns out these fictional beings aren’t so far-fetched. In fact, this episode features a true-to-life cyborg, who at four months of age, was the youngest American to be outfitted with a myoelectric hand. And at one ground-breaking engineering facility, engineers are developing biotechnologies that can even further enhance high-tech like this by giving mechanical prosthetics something incredible: the physical sensation of touch!
Other engineering firms are gearing up powerful exoskeletons that both rehabilitate and enhance the power of the human body… improving the lives of those with paralysis and transforming the work force.
But the real pivot is getting machines inside the body. An out-of-the-box ‘transhumanist’ featured in the episode installs a chip inside a person’s hand. It works as a key that unlocks doors, literally and figuratively.
However, brain-machine integration poses the biggest challenges, and the biggest rewards. Cutting-edge neuroscientists and technologists reveal how computer chips can directly interface with the human brain in ways that not only rehabilitate, but which can also ‘read thoughts’ in real-time.
Remarkably, a breakthrough technology called ‘Computer Assisted Telepathy’ is achieving the impossible. Through a test subject’s mind only, she’s able to control another person’s body. Technologies like these will pave the way toward the Cyborg Revolution.

Yeah it's called the last days. Like in the book of Daniel, Daniel had a dream about nations to rise and fall, and the last nation, Babylon will be clay mixed with iron Humans are the clay as we were formed from dirt of the earth, and the iron is machine. Because transhumanism is the great reset aka the fourth industrial revolution aka Agenda 2030 aka the great tribulation as the Bible calls it. If your not human, you cant be forgiven for sin, which means hell fire eternity. So that's why the mark of the beast turns you into no longer human. It's the only unforgivable sin, to become nonhuman by taking the mark of the beast. You cant be redeemed.

With sensors close to the brain and sensors on the device, yes. Without sensors, no, because signal doesn't travel far enough to be picked up and interpreted accurately very far outside of the skull. Also the arm is reading signals from muscle movement and able to interpret what the limb would do. Those sensors are right on the skin.

The arms augmented with robotics, free floating for production is very interesting. It makes me wonder what would happen to our muscles over time? Would they Atrophy? Be stronger with assisted use? Like doing low impact weights? Could this help with physical therapy? Would this only be available for commercial application and private medical because of cost there for leaving those in economic struggle out to the loop. Would this create a "gaps" in evolutionary access for those that haven't been allowed or taught how to keep up. How are we connection this to nature? Can they "feel" the vibrations of the earth or will they? So many questions. Very interesting. Thank you for sharing.

I'm caught between being excited about all this to kind of unhappy about it. This redefines terms like talents and strengths. Would we be interested in watching an NBA game that is battled out through who has the most updated robot parts? Or will we retain our biological talents and just augment them?
@MelissaWitherspoon2
@MelissaWitherspoon2 Год назад
EXACTLY!!! They’re taking away all of the things that makes a human a human. This will result in a lot of suicid3 and depression. People are already dealing with a variety of mental and emotional issues with only having cell phones and televisions. I can understand it from a medical standpoint because of course we want everyone to be able to use their limbs like everyone else, but the way they’re trying to implement other forms of technology into everyday society is disgusting. Soon we’ll have to redefine what it even means to be happy and fulfilled. This is a disrespect to God. There are so many natural ways to be a super human that they don’t want us to be aware of so we can go the artificial route that they can control. The Demons are right in our face and hiding in plane sight.

Unhappy because you are viewing it from your outdated, archaic, animalistic human perspective.
@jdt8983
@jdt8983 Год назад
@@Kenny-tl7ir Yeah maybe, but you're human and therefore stupid too. A bit redundant using both "outdated" and "archaic." It's like the writers who flower up their verbiage to appear smarter than they are. Concise conveys IQ. But now that you're an offended troll, you won't likely listen to the rest of this. For me it's wanting to take credit for things/my sort of, "innate" abilities. It gets to the free will debate...I don't have the intelligence to know about the mechanics of the "soul," and without that knowledge it appears there is no such thing as free will anyways... I've always struggled with where to take credit for actions, and what constitutes cheating. Maybe Sam Harris is correct and therefore the ego behind feeling good or ashamed about certain choices or accomplishments is generally pointless; beyond its need to prevent complete abolishment from the tribe. Therefore, it doesn't matter if I use a bionic arm (for instance) to improve my bench press... because there's no point in feeling good or bad about how much I lift in the 1st place.

So more questions? lol How can you see such a small screen to use the information and how will this affect future memories in the brain? Is it like muscle memory like the hand trainer? I have always wanted to learn piano fully but because being me it's hard to be constantly consistent. So it ends up with me having solid knowledge and good feel for music but no advancement but a slow steep incline. Listening to this just makes be believe my dreams could come true in the future. To be able to learn in ways that have been an obstacle. How amazing would that be?! Then the reality of some places on the globe, either through ignorance, personal resources or social pressures make me wonder if we can ever catch up and have these same opportunities available to us? This includes me. It would blow my mind. Thank you artists, designers, engineers, scientists and researchers while also being a little grateful to those that push to have these benefits in the future given to all that need it or want it. Which would giving us all of a leg up on a more balanced earthly journey. Dare I say leveling up the human race in a modern way. AH so many questions. Lol
