There are 3 reasons that a thread is used with human hair crochet. The first one is that as human hair is more expensive folding it in half would take away the length, so hair the same length is attached to both sides of the thread and fixed with an adhesive. The second one is that if you folded human hair halfway and installed it the cuticles would run in opposite directions which would create a tangled nightmare, and could also break off the hair. The third is as you said that human hair would not stay knotted very well and would likely loosen and fall out in a short time. There are human hair crochet methods, however, that use special tools to apply, bulk hair installed with adhesives, and even methods that use wefted hair. This looks stunning on you 🙂

Gorgeous. As someone mentioned, I’d love to see the takedown especially since what would typically be a pre loop is a piece of thread which seems like it’ll be difficult to take out and reuse.

Make sure you purchase long inches and also the hair comes in bunches. So your pieces are going to be different sizes. For example, just think of how you come your hair and their may be shedding or a bunch of dead hair. That is what I received for 250.00 dollars.. I still have the hair and thank goodness I found someone who can work with the hair.

Can’t imagine the removal of this. Have you tried sewing in the back and just crocheting the top/front. That way you can reuse the hair instead of having to cut out the crocheted hair.

UPDATE: I complained so badly that I received a full refund within minutes of getting off the phone (texting back and forth). They also offered another hair, but I did not like it, so I declined. I really wanted the hair, so I called back later and ordered it, and it was sent to me in roughly four business days. I just wanted to update my comment to let everyone know that the company did work to resolve my problem. I ordered more hair and have not had any problems.

This isn’t an ideal price for the normal working woman. Paying over $600.00 dollars on sale for 5 pks of crochet hair is ridiculous. The fact that the maintenance to reuse it and get your money worth would be a nightmare! I will pass on this and it is just what I was looking for but the price can miss me.
