@@RealSurfStories amazing peice of skateboard history. Thanks for everything you've done. This and Speed Freaks are immearable contributions to skateboardings history.
me too!! Until a friend said it wasnt. I was in high school at the time when I saw the vid.... I wrote once to natas and he responded to my surprise... He told me it was a friends band and he was trying to help them out.. He also said he really couldnt use any known bands cuz the whole vid was kinda underground.. even Santa cruz didnt like it.
Huh?? Tony Roberts here. I filmed and edited Goin' Off. Human Race was a band comprised of friends of mine in Santa Cruz. Natas never met them and never heard the song before the video came out. I chose the song. Whole vid was kinda underground? Goin Off was one of the biggest skate video releases in 1989 with worldwide distribution. Santa Cruz didn't like it? I never played it for them, this was my video production, no companies were involved.
@@RealSurfStories thank you for everything you contributed to the video. That is, to this day, my favorite skate video. Skaters, the skating and the choices for the soundtrack were perfect
