i love that all the shit happening in the world all the terror with scourge legion etc you can just go sit in an inn and listen to some awesome up beat music
reminds me of logging into my level 5 alliance human in goldshire, and working as a double agent-- networking with the alliance, while speaking to my friend over the telephone on conference call, as he got our horde allies through duskendale, this was before ventrillo
Keep an eye to the mountains of the North, brother. One day, a happening will occur, and with it shall come the life you seek, but for now, I say no more, lest you seek the answers. Never give into this world, brother, greatness awaits beyond the hills.
Travel and go out of your comfort zone. We all wish the world could be different in our own way, but trust me there are some amazing things waiting to be explored and discovered. Staying at home on your computer or in the city will not help.
If Azeroth existed and they had books with images of our world, with crazy technology and machines, they might wish they could leave their boring world for ours... the grass is always greener on the other side, don't take for granted the amazing stuff in our real world.. but I agree I'd move to Azeroth over here in a second hah.
@CreeperMart As a player who's only experienced Cata (only 6 months or so in) I feel I can present a different view from those who always complain about Cata ruining the game: For me, TBC was boring. Half of the zones were skipped because of fast leveling, Zangarmarsh and Nagrand were beautiful, but that's about it. WoTLK, same thing. Everything was boring except for Sholazar Basin. But Cataclysm... the quests were actually FUN. I actually enjoyed the quests for those zones.
truly? any city! although i prefer Silvermoon, Shattrath or Dalaran. Ironforge is nice, SW as well, Darnassus with those big trees all around. Would be a difficult choice :-)
Not trying to judge sorry :(. I wish I lived in a different world also, but we have to work with what we got or at least change a little piece of it for the better. I think our Medieval and Ancient history are awesome. I think our generation is pretty cool also, since we were the first to experience the digital age and be pioneers. I think that is the one thing that makes our generation somewhat cool.
@CreeperMart wowcrendor has videos about this. It's not the game itself people really remember as fun, but rather the enjoyable memories spent with other people. I challenge you to find something you honestly FUN, not nostalgic (when I was level 13 in the Barrens...), about vanilla that didn't start with "my friends and I."
@Throthgar the reason i thought the dwarves are norse because of their beards for one two the dwarves are based from norse mythology and third the cloths of the dwarves and the starting area and i just put undead where welsh just 4 fun i am actually french since the worgen would be british and humans german. also because of great conflict with the worgen and undead (hundred year war reference)
@shushifeo Why does everyone keep hatin on MoP?! its just a fucking new race for fucks sake and some new addons, its not like theyre deleting everything els that was in the game in earlier expansions, all you have to do is IGNORE IT
@Equeon Well in cata A LOT has changed. you can level a lot faster now so that explains skipping zones in TBC zones. And WotLK was very boring to me. If you have only experienced cata then you don't know nuthing 'bout vanilla. In vanilla the game was for fun not to power level and yell at someone.
You all fail. Goblins are modeled after low-level 'goomba'-stereotypes of the Mafia. Worgen are Victorian English. Regular humans are standard 'medieval fantasy' English. Draenei aren't modeled on anything - except maybe crystals. NElves aren't modeled explicitly on anything either. BElves are standard 'fantasy elves.' Orcs are archetypal 'noble savages.' Trolls are Caribbean tribalists. Tauren are Native American, yes. Dwarves are Scottish. Gnomes are steamtech-fantasy and comic relief.
@bookercreator LoL then I am an Orc :D But we aren't savage now our ancestors used to be so savage they ransacked Moscow just for fun :)) Moscow is Stormwind, so that means Humans are Russians?
@shushifeo WotLK Destroyed the game because in that expansion people only cared about gear score and everything depended on gear score and some of the content was ok and cool. They just don't have to change valor points every patch. And in cata they went WAAAAY to far across the line. I don't like what they did because they didn't do anything but make a new expansion. They didn't change anything. It was still kill this guy bring me his head go do this dungeon bla blah blah.
no offense but the story is still going on like warcraft III and the books. yes it costs alot but if it wouldnt ull have all theese annoying counterstrike 9 and 10 year olds come play around and couse the gameplay to be so stupid.
