Yep, that would happen, but if you check every 12 hours they won't die

Flame Ming I was checking them every 3 to 4 hours it makes no difference first and only time I caught one alive it had half it’s tale ripped of and stuck in the door second and third where not so lucky. Sorry but It’s a bad product

Flame Ming yeah I guess that’s fair but I would like to put out there strongly that there are much MUCH better human traps out there. I would suggest MOTEL MOUSE TRAP AS ITS A LONGER CHAMBER AND HAS A BETTER TRAP DOOR 👍🏼
