Thanks Ming for sharing your experience. Did you sign any form or paper before the presentation start because they can use that sign in to say that you agreed?
For those who cant figure out what to do after watching this video. If your monitor has a menu button on it like how he shows in the video In my settings on my monitor it says enable adaptive sync. mine was already enabled. i disabled it then re-enabled and I could now see the set up g-sync on the nvidia control panel. hope this helps someone with a g-sync compatible monitor.
Easy hack: Dress modestly and bring a small notepad and pen. When signing in, write your name down and show the person… eventually they’ll ask if you can speak, write down No and show them. Do not speak, at all, only answer by writing and showing, and after you’ve written “No” multiple times they give up quickly and give you the reward. I’ve done this dozens of times in Vegas, resorts, and at conferences.
Just don't go on the presentation again. Once you go on the second presentation you are just doing it for the free gift. Stop wasting other peoples time if you know you are not gonna buy from the first time.
Let me get this straight. They offer you 400k points for $100k and then when you say "no" enough times, you can have the same amount of points for less than $5k? I get that there is a "within 24 months" stipulation but honestly so gross.
Has anyone else tried go to Nvidia Control Pane > Manage 3D settings > Vertical Sync > adaptive Does this actually do anything? As I saw people recommend this as turning on "adaptive sync". Does this mean I have some sort of better vsync almost gsync but not quite gsync?... Also thank you a lot. I got a 960. I had done a quick google which said 600 series + are compatible with gsync. But that must be only for monitors with actual Gsync modules built-in.
Thanks for the video! I am planning on having my honeymoon there in mid-January 2025. We are debating between an adult-only hotel or Hilton Mar Caribe. Since we are going during school season for MEX and US, we should not see many kids, right? Do you have any thoughts or recommendations based on your experience? Thanks!
Congrats! If kids bother you, then I think you should avoid it. there were many events (even late night ones) that was completely swamped with kids. If you are looking for adult only. I highly recommend the Hyatt Zilara Cancun. This video shows the most basic room(and it's awesome): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BwrKMeFglA4.html
Get this. So I paid $150 for a 3 night stay at a nice hotel in Oregon last October, agreeing to hear a timeshare pitch. I had up to a year to select dates for the trip. At the time they'd asked me my income, which needed to be at least 60k/year. All good... So, today I try to select the dates and they ask me AGAIN about my income. Well, I've been unemployed since end of year. So now not eligible to go at the price I'd paid for. Sigh. Ok, so how about a refund? Nope, they say. I had only 7 days to do that after time of purchase. So I'll just have to eat the cost or hope I'm back fully employed by October. Bastards. I was really, really looking forward to the trip. Talk about getting kicked when you're down.
I wish you would have shown the nightly activities calendar. I can't find one anywhere, and you can only access this while at the resort. UGH. We are looking to see what they have for adults in the evenings after dinner.
Everyone I know with a timeshare regrets getting it. They’re always offering for us to use their timeshare and they complain about the rising annual fees. I don’t know how these things are legal because they’re basically impossible to get out of. I will probably do one of these presentations just to get free stuff but the free offer for attending the presentation has to be worth A LOT since I have little patience. I wonder if I’d be allowed to bring a baby. Can say “times up, gotta feed my baby!” 😂 give me my freebies 👋
Cancun and nearby areas are generally very safe. however in Cancun hotel zone, once you step outside of the resort there isn't anything around. I would recommend Playa Del Carmen, if you want to walk around. They have beachfront all inclusive resort as well.
Hey.. i have an rtx 3050 laptop with HDMI gpu out . My monitor is LG ULTRAGEAR and has freesync and gsync compatible. So i bought an active hdmi to dp converter but still gsync is not showing. do anyone knows why?
I've been cracking my head over this...your video is the only one on the internet talking about this total bullshit of g-sync scam shit. Ty, i no longer need to spend more time on this nonsense.
Hi we are going to this resort in April! I saw all those restaurants that you have to make reservations for…do you have to pay for some of the restaurants?! My first time going to a all inclusive😏
~5-10k is not enough for me to give it up. We go full loaded and are super excited and happy with it. At prices always drop and rivian will reduce over time as they are able to. Produce more but the 1 series will always be more expensive since they only plan to build smaller less feature packed versions.
Looking into booking this hotel. Is the reason for not liking this hotel due to the room situation and check -in wait time ? Why else would you not recommend it ?
Not sure how much the prices are now, if it's anywhere near $600/night, I'd say the food quality needs to be slightly better at the buffet, drinks brands should be better too. All the ocean-view rooms are nice though. and Plenty of activities. I also like their online restaurant reservation system. Better than Hyatt's.
