You're right my puppy Bella died last year February 2 2015 it was so sad without her. she was so cute and fluffy she was white as snow and playful I still miss her so much
I could do without the advertising, but I love the picture it paints. I do feel like my dog is helping me more than I help her. And it does feel like she is constantly concerned with my well being. And she will always be my saving grace in an awkward situation, or even a dangerous one. My dog is my guardian angel. My best friend.
I dont understand people who thinks that dogs are stupid and brainless. My dog knows almost 10 commands and more. Like sit, give me a paw, bark etc.. She also whenever I come home she is very happy and usually licks my face, lol. I had a cat once but she was boring. She slept all the time. So yeah, dogs are not stupid.

Please do some research on google to find out why it's so bad for your dogs :( My pug had to get surgery to remove bladder stones because of the poor diet the ingredients in beneful had on him. After we switched him to a special vet-recommended brand, our beagle had the same thing happen to him. SWITCH OFF BENEFUL BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! Yeah, dogs are amazing and our best friends, and even with that sometimes humans are shit, pure evil and very bad towards them. Please say NO to animal cruelty and don't be an ass.
Oh, I know, michael weedmark, but I am talking about those kind of people that, for example, kick their dogs because they acted bad, or because they peed on the carpet, those people that have their dogs all the time in the yard, barely with water, food and stuff like that. I know this is an advertisement but this was a great video. We had to put our dog to sleep today and it really really sucked. After being with him for 14 years since a pup, it brought back good memories and hope that he felt the same way.
I thought it was clever as it was analysing the human from the dogs perspective. I smiled :) Ad or not I thought it was great (it had almost nothing to do with the actual product).
That basset hound looks just like mine who died just 2 weeks ago. He died at 7 years old and he waited for us to leave so we didn't get to see him like that. We had him since he was 6 and a half, so it was hard watching this. He was my best friend.
Before he died of old age our German Shepherd Chico had practically the same type of diet constantly. One meal per day kept him satisfied. He never gave indication that he wanted more, nor did he scrounge around waste disposal bins. On our walks through public walkways, he would never show interest in food wastes left along the pathways. The following was his standard daily meal: In addition to his dog roll (4 cups), he had mixed into it, 1 cup cooked cooled rice, 1 cup cooked cooled cubed-cut mixed-veggies (carrots, peas, corn and beans), 1/4 cup of Vegemite yeast spread or 1 cup of beef-stock soup. We alternated his bone with dog biscuits, giving him dog biscuits about 3 x per week, every 2nd day, and bones in between those days. Chico was born in 1985 and had died 2005. Merry Christmas.
And smokers can die over age 100, what is your point? Do you know what a carnivore is? I am aware they are able to process vegetables now but only because of our forced domestication process. It pisses me off. Oh and please explain how you determined that exact mix to give your dog for twenty years. I'm interested. Also "old age" isn't a cause of death. Stroke, heart attack, or other organ failure are causes of natural death. FKProds In the wild a dog would eat rodents, or animals that are either herbivore or like himself, a carnivore, but domestically we've raised them dependent on processed food. In the wild he would receive sufficient nutrients from eating a herbivore, or an animal that contains all the elements he requires in his body metabolism. We've taken the dog out of the natural ecosystem, and made him as blind as us to the commercial world's tendency to busllshit about what their foods actually contain. This is my point.
Miranda Juras Who told you that bullshit ? Dogs are mainly carnivore, they do not eat vegetable in the wild unless they are starving. Yet dogs must also be recognized for their significant omnivorous ability. Their proven ability to digest carbohydrate-based foods has been known for many years. Dogs teeth and the way they eat is proof enough, they do not chew food, their teeth are made for cutting meat and swallowing it. Sure they can stay alive if you feed them with lots of carbs but it is actually bad for them.

Bassett hounds are my favorite dogs. I've had mine for 11 years and she still acts like an excited puppy whenever I come home. They truly are selfless, amazing animals.
