I think they just don't understand how big it is. Like, one of the SMALL bears, I don't think I could take it in a fight to the death but I think I could make it fuck off. Maybe. I'm talking about a juvenile or something, less than 200 pounds. But adult Grizzlies are like 400+ (idk if that's even right, I just know they're MASSIVE) pounds and could smack my ass around no matter what.

@@DannyB1111 I will be honest even with sharpened sticks we dont stand much of a better chance at defeating a grizzly. Most sticks wont penetrate deeply enough in its skin and most sticks will break on contact they are extremely strong i would not bet my luck on a stick. There is a reason humans in the past avoided most animals like the plague and only fought certain creatures when absolutely nessesary theres also a reason why we are endurance hunters who would run prey too death or lead them to pitfall traps because physically we are not strong enough to beat most things. even with more modern weapons so long as we are not including guns like metal swords or metal spears the vast majority of humans would die in a 1v1 fight with a grizzly. Most grizzlys can take several gunshots and keep moving and fighting mostly unaffected. We get hit once by a grizzly and we are basically already done for

I've always felt like I could take a grizzly with an entirely steel spear. But I'm a practicing martial artist. Most people don't realize exactly how exhausting fighting is. It makes you use muscles that are mostly dormant unless you're fighting or struggling. It takes both endurance and specific training of those muscles. Also adult male grizzles are around 600lbs and 8 ft tall when standing. So I'd prefer not to.

@@Vesdus steel spear is probably the only chance and even then you probably only have a single chance. If you miss once your probably done for because the bear is just too fast and too strong and unless you hit a crippling or killing hit in 1 or 2 blows your also probably done for because it will rage. If you have multiple people striking from multiple angles with steel spears I say the chance of winning is high but some might still get injured or killed in the fight if you are solo its probably heavily on luck. The bears have a lot more health then and defense then you would think you need pretty big bullets to actually kill them lots of bullets bears can just shrug off and keep going

They're massive, vicious, and WILL overwhelm you quickly, attacking simultaneously. This isn't an action movie where they approach you one by one, you're instantly surrounded and they're chomping away at the back of your calves and neck.
