It disgusts me how cruel humans can be to themselves and those that look to them for love and support. But it astounds me how those same beings can be so trusting and loving of another after having gone through so much. The person who did this will suffer her own special fate. I was permanently, painfully disabled by child abusers. It hurts me every time a car goes over a bump too. This dog would be an amazing therapy dog for people like me, who, like her, have had to learn to thrive despite the lasting physical reminders of how awful humans can be.

Denali was with his 6 siblings in the house when that POS started the fire. The husband is/was serving overseas and was going to divorce her after she cheated and was allegedly into meth. She knew Denali was the husband's favorite and used an accelerant on her. The other 6 dogs got some smoke inhalation, are okay, and are spread out with family members. Denali survived hell and deserves soooo much love... :o)

I appreciate this youtube channel, and I really don't ever like to criticize people who are doing this much to help abused animals. It's just my opinion that the dog who is the subject of this video should have been given a canine-appropriate pain killer as preparation for transport. Sedation might have been even better, but I understand that volunteers were probably not prepared with training for injection of a sedative. For a pain relief tablet to start working takes 20 minutes to a half hour. It seems that this transport could have been delayed for that length of time, to avoid a situation in which a dog with serious chemical burns, over large areas of her body, was made to endure the pain and torment of being "bounced" on a back seat, with the van "bouncing" over rough road surface. This sounds like un-necessary torture to me. It's nice to almost cry, in a video, while talking about the critically injured dog being "bounced" on the back seat. Proper preparation for transport would have been better than later "tears". An abused dog with a broken leg should be splinted, as preparation even for being lifted into a van. Dog with obvious severe burns should be given an appropriate capsule or tablet for moderate pain relief, in advance of being touched by a human. The speaker/volunteer of this video sounds like a person who has never endured any type of burn injury, in her entire life.

I hope the former owners get what they deserve. Denali lives to love again thanks to this woman ...I don't know if I could respond the way Denali did. ❤️💯
