Hana not wanting to eat the pigs and instead made them as her friends reminds me of a recently watched videos about Bear Grylls' Men vs Women six weeks group island survival challenge where the women except for one(a nurse) refused to eat a couple pigs that suddenly came out of nowhere(highly likely the film crew productions put them there for content) meanwhile the men found a crocodile/alligator (also probably production's team putting them there) and they eat them. I like how the anime showed that in the story and I like Hana for realizing the brutal truth of humanity being apex predator.
