Lilium Humboldtii spp Humboldtii is a beautiful and rare lily you can only find on a few hills in Northern California. These plants are one of the most beautiful flowers you will ever see. And it’s a shame they aren’t grow in cultivation. True lilies are always so showy. But nothing competes with the colors this flower has. Ranked 4.2 b on the rare plant scale due to limited distribution , this flower needs protection.
Sadly invasive species and human development are both destroying the foothills habitat this lily defends on to thrive.
