First time I fished in SC, back in August, I caught a 25lb Southern Stingray, my first Redfish, and a 4ft Bonnethead Shark. Obviously can't catch those fish where you're at. Hopefully you can experience that.
I've had other BPM baits ru-vid.comUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!
The advertised fish on the whopper plopper was a huge northern pike similar in shape and size to a muskie but different species, nonetheless great video
The AC plug was an awesome lure on Lake Fork in the 1990's. I recall catching many many bass over 5 lbs on a trout colored one. Not exactly ancient .... brings back great memories!
It’s not the one in the video but academy has a twin seater trolling motor powered boat for 800. Ive absolutely slayed on a buddy’s. Can attest they are a lot of fun and really good for the price point. With a motor and battery your on the water for around 1100-1200 bucks
BIG BAITS, for me...catching a 2 1/2 lb'er on a 10" Rat got me hooked on big baits...now, I'm loaded with big baits. 🤣 something special about throwing big baits, on big gear for bass...the ultimate predator, will go after baits people would never think of using
It’s amazing that you won that challenge!! All the odds were in fletchers favor he should of EASILY beat you.. you just straight up out fished him. Good job big Mike
If you were fishing here in New Jersey I'm catching that many Bass ripping up your thumb you should call it the red thumb challenge love your videos stay cool rehydrate have safe flight home
Hey I’m a new fan, been watching your vids the last few weeks. I started going through them from the beginning and noticed the ones that said “9 years ago” a few days ago now say “10 years ago.” Congrats on 10 years of success on your channel!!! I grew up near Round Valley Reservoir in NJ. Can’t wait to go back now and try a binsky for lakers!!
I would most definitely love to come and fish with you. I’m sixty five years old and the chances of making it out there in my lifetime are slim to none so I’ll just cross my fingers!
I saw a video where a dude used a Slx dc in saltwater and it messed it up. I would definitely research it if you plan on it. I can’t verify but he sure said it destroyed his. Can’t remember the name of the video though.
It really helps us out when we use the filter that RU-vid has now that says under subscribers at the top of the screen it says uploaded today excellent video Tom from New Jersey
This further proves that bass hit big baits. If you threw that big trolling bait out there on the delta in ca, where they use them big swim baits I’m sure they’d work. I liked that one the most it was low key fire.
I've cought lots of bass on the 130 plopper. When I first started using it I thought it would be impossible, . From 1 1-2 & up to 4.9. After watching this vid I will now size up on the plopper.
