The police who confronted Tyre Nichols were part of an ELITE crime fighting unit tasked with patrolling the areas with the most crime. There are no “low standards” in elite units. Furthermore, one of those officers were WHITE. I bet you didn’t even know that, or maybe you did, and you’re probably just ignoring it because you’re racist.

White cops are a much bigger problem than black cops. You just don’t want black people to achieve anything because you want Amerikkka to have white people remain on top. That’s why Fox News likes to lie and say that black doctors are graduating because of low standards, when in reality, to become a doctor, EVERYONE has to meet HIGH STANDARDS because you’re dealing with medicine and people’s lives, and they have to take TESTS and pass those tests to become a doctor. Stop letting Fox News brainwash you with their racist propaganda.

$60,000? When I joined Philly PD in 1990s the starting salary was less than $24,000 a year.

that just shows you how much inflation has spiked since the 90s.......in fact $60k is too low, it should be more like $75-80K

Many agencies are offering starting wages over $100K, in addition to signing bonuses of up to $40K. My best year as a patrol officer was $250K, but Oakland patrol officer Malcolm Miller made $640K in one year.
