CORRECTION! The lives lost in Vietnam WERE lost in vain! That includes both sides. I named my after my flight school buddy who came back in a box. My buddy would be 71, but died when he was 20. Best of luck to all of us.

I've decided that there should be a Vietnam Draft Resistor Honor Flight. Why you might ask? Because if it wasn't for guys like me we would probably still be in that illegal war today. We helped cut the war short in the 70s...and therefore....did a patriotic and positive thing for America and future Americans. So...all you younger generation people start putting something together to honor us, and make sure you say, "thank you for your service and sacrifice for our country" when we get off the plane.

Um, the war ended basically when Congress cut the purse strings and stopped funding the war. If you care so much, put your money where your mouth is and help us make Veterans Day a national holiday.

@@eadecamp Lol. What a loaded statement. If Veteran's Day is not a national holiday...the issue is way beyond my support. If veterans haven't earned a national holiday....you live in a pretty shitty country. I will add this as well. If the 2.7 million Vietnam vets would have put their energies to good use....they would have marched a million strong on Washington DC when the US was getting into new "Vietnams" in Iraq and Afghanistan. They could have been "heroes" then.

You really think people would donate for a dishonor flight of cowards. You still trying to justify your actions. I can see the committee welcoming you home. Sighns saying I ran away so someone else could take my place. Your jealousy of any attention the Vietnam vets are getting is pathetic. What can you say about you and Hanoi Jane. Two pathetic traitors.
