It's the advanced technology on the planes that has long range tracker of enemy planes and missiles TRYING TO HONE IN ON THE TARGET of it. The difference is here: A Russian radar can detect an F16 but it is difficult to HONE IN ON IT! IF U CAN'T HONE IN ON A TARGET, I CAN'T SHOOT IT EVEN IF YR RADAR CAN DETECT IT. THAT'S the 1st most outstanding character of the F16. If it was that simple, Hezbollah cud have shot one long time ago with advanced missiles from Iran. 2ndly, even an enemy succeeds in Homing in on F16, it has redeemer that detects instantly when it's being Honed in on and when u launch Yr missile against it including the distance and speed. It engages counter measures to redirect Yr missile.
Moreso, an F16 can fire in any direction compared to any Russian plane. An F16 can fly away from an enemy plane say facing northwards but still shoot it down while it's tail is facing the enemy plane. Russian planes can't shoot backwards. Their nose must face the enemy. Even Su57 can't shoot backwards.

Article 5 doesn't mean anything right now, anyways. NATO isn't in any position to be involved in any conflict. They're out of artillery shells. They have enough air defenses for 5% of their territory. They have very few operational tanks. Their militaries are in laughable condition (Germany doesn't even have rifles for 1/2 of their useless army). And, they don't have any competent leadership, no logistics capabilities, no experience in a modern war. Nothing. The emperor has no clothes.

Ukraine is like a spoiled child continually testing the limits of its benefactors. One US condition regarding F-16s was their combat missions must stage out of Ukraine, not a NATO country. So Ukraine haggled all last year to say a stop in Ukraine for arming/refuelling prior to combat would be acceptable. Finally the US gave in and released the first F-16s. Now Ukraine says F-16s refuelling on or over Ukrainian territory is what US agreed to.

These anarchic acts of arson in Ukraine are a very curious case. Yesterday an energy facility was hit, which doesn´t make any sense if you love your families and neighbours and now we see all kinds of civilian cars with military markings set on fire. The number of people responsible for it seems to be still quite small, however. 1) I wonder how something like this is possible in a country that is infested with security services. 2) Why do these guys film themselves committing treason (because this is exactly what it is). Why take such an unnecessary risk, that could easily lead to your identification and subsequent media highlight trial in court?
