Yeah but unfortunately there is an extremely slim chance of those rocks to be diamonds as if they WERE diamonds, mining companies, the government would have already found it long ago.
It may be cause the land belongs to the government. And they don't want people mining there. Eg : are you going to go to the lake District and cut down all the tress for wood.
They tricked themselves, not the government. Mineral rights and laws are there for anyone to read before you start digging like a fool. I can almost guarantee you the UK has similar laws where you do not own the mineral rights even if it's your private property.
It's for the people. Government saying it's illegal in order to come and take to enrich themselves further, creating generational wealth for themselves and their descendants while the majority of the population struggle to even have a decent meal a day. Power to the people, they should take what rightly belongs to them.

yeah after they found out it isnt diamonds but quartz, government is now going to send geologists to survey the area for shale gas and other natural resources.
they don`t need to send a team to find out if they are Diamonds , just send an expert and he would be able to tell you in a minute , then problem solved ,
They aren't sending a team for that really. It's a team to take the diamonds away from the people that found them so the government steals their discoveries

Well, at least they have hope. By God's grace, they're diamonds and these people can finally live well and care for their families. What God is doing is unstoppable.
They should be issued diggers licences with the assistance of the Small Miners Association of South Africa. Mines And Energy should fast track this ✊🏾🤙🏾💯 where quartz crystals are located there's a good possibility of more precious stones not only diamonds take note.

It’s very very possible that this is an alluvial diamond field .... the Diamond companies normally buy claims on areas like these, fence them of and sit on them to control supply ... this one must have slipped their surveys somehow.... !!!

the lie from the reporter is that 'people all over South Africa' , but anyways these stones belong to the people of the land but not the rich or foreign nationals(EROUPIANS).
If these are diamonds they are essentially unsellable on the international market.. The diamonds are considered illegal, not only because they are mined illegally, but because they are unmarked thus making them indistinguishable from blood diamonds. I feel so bad for most of these people because even if they are diamonds.. This isn't going to save them at all.. It will just be a pretty rock in some drawer.

The stones don’t appear to have the cuboid angles of the diamond crystal & do look like quartz but there are many other clear gem stones & South Africa is rich in many of them.
