Giving our friend the Caulksterpiece a glow up ✨🌌
This account has changed a decent amount in the last year and a half from more absurd video art to the slightly more educational explanations of the builds! The original caulksterpiece was made during the transition phase but I was never that happy with how it turned out so I figured why not add some sparkle 😂 (and I wanted to see how sturdy the b7000 would be on caulk and how distinct the layers would remain)
Anywho for any one who goes further back than this you will notice a voice shift, in short that is because the more performative (deeper) voice is the character of gothorella whereas the squeak-ier voice is normal ol me lol. As the videos became less performances and more educational I decided to go closer to my normal voice 😂 (well as close as I can. I am def not a voice actor 😂)

Loving this transformation! We all need a reminder that growth takes time, and can look any which way it needs to. Even if that involves lot and lots of glass.

🥰🖤 and Haha generally, I try very hard to avoid glass (the theatrical prop maker in me) but glass beads are my exception. They make things so shiny 😂

I appreciate your comment because it’s a nice reminder of things that we often don’t tell ourselves nearly enough (especially when things are heading towards dark corners, or are already in that dark place) - and it also encourages those struggling to keep going when things feel like they are never going to get better. And then the cherry on top for me was your glass reference because out of all the medium in the world to could have picked, you picked the one that resonates with me deeply. I am in my first few years as a (hopefully) budding glass artist and boy oh boy, do I have a LOT of broken glass stored up from day 1 - more often than not, when I look at the dozens of storage tubs of the broken glass I have filled in such a short time (< 3 years), I find my inner voice speaking not so kindly to myself because I feel like I should have somehow been better at the craft than I was when I began to learn it (and yes, I know that is oxymoronic - I said, that little voice in my head is kind of an ass sometimes lol). Thank you for the encouraging reminders, kind human!

🥰🖤🥰 and When I made the original video I was a silly and managed to lose all of the individual audio clips So all I had was the finished audio so I ended up trying to find a background music track for this version that would work with the original and I'm quite happy with how the two get along

Yeah! It's super fun! But takes a reallllllly long time to dry if it's more than 1/4" as you probably know but just in case wanted to warn you! (caulk also makes a great fake cake icing!!!)
