Lots of of visitors out today as the hunt ball attracts people all over the UK. Thank you to the organisers for putting on a great night. My Instagram: montgomerythe3rd
Show us Tonic a bit more. Such a great horse never puts a hoof wrong. Show us when you wash him down and some TLC behind the scene footage with him, he is such a legend jumping everything! ❤
So nice to see and hear you and Tonic. He's such a nice horse. You two are definitely meant to be partners. Thank you for showing the hint ball and explaining what to expect through the day and evening!! Very nice and well done. Nice to see the different countryside s that you hunt through! Thank you again and until your next one take care!
So envious of all that winter riding and fun. Wish I could show all the snow here.😂 Interesting to see some of the social side and benefits that support your hunts. So many people involved in supporting! Great clip.
Oh look at me I'm second to comment! I never got to hunt in my area, I missed the opportunity, so thank you for taking me with you! To watch a real hunt is so exciting. MaryLea Oregon USA
Really enjoy coming out hunting for the day with you and Tonic. Love your exuberance and sheer joy of enjoying jumping on your fabulous horse. So grateful to be able to ride with you as I can no longer experience riding first hand. My mum in her 80s also enjoys the thrill of being on horse back via your videos. Thank you and safe travels.
How nervous are you before these rides ? I love how you have a little conversation with the rider next to you like it’s no big deal. I would be holding on for dear life 😄
Your comment about people coming out of London, hiring horses and not able to hunt. It would be politic to mind your manners and not make sweeping statements. I live in London, hire horses and hunt and have been riding for sixty years. It's not practicable to keep a horse in town as I'm sure you can appreciate. All the visitors help fund your local hunt and the hunt ball. what contibution do you make?
In his defence he’s probably right. It happens at all hunts across the UK and Ireland. You have people who are not regular hunters on hireling horses. This combination can make things a little chaotic. I don’t read that as insulting, it’s just fact. They are no less welcome at a meet, but as said just a little chaotic if their ability does not meet what’s required. Anyway the most important thing is they enjoy their day.
Well a hunt like this is really for an experienced horse and rider. I can't imagine doing this on a horse you don't know. If you are lucky you rent an outstanding save horse...if not....scary thought....
This track is for experienced horse and rider, not for people that ride course three times a year on a borrowed horse. Better??? Not for tourists. Better?
