Can be done with any pet but wolf has the advantage of making the door pull a little easier. Wolf is a great pet to have for solo stuff because of how howl works to bring it back in combat after a summon and to redirect aggro.

@@jaytullo5486 I have seen other videos with improved revive, and the wolf dies, revive in evade spot, eotb, furious howl and then complete the pull, however when I do this, all mobs focus on me not the wolf, even after FH. Any advice?

Yeah I’ve done a fair bit of Ulda, the reason I’ve personally focused on cathedral is that I’m pretty convinced it will be the fastest leveling strategy from 40-42. They are pretty similar gold per hour, only real difference is that Ulda blues can be a little more valuable. So maybe on the top end with luck Ulda is more gold. But I’m fine with the amount of gold I have and want to practice for the next bracket of leveling.

@@jaytullo5486 Interesting, good to know thank you! I figured Ulda would be way more gph because of the Mageweave potential and it being worth 7-10x more than Silk, but I know you kill significantly more mobs and faster in SM so that makes sense.

I feel you there, one thing that’s helped me is rapidly doing the kite on the ledge left and right to keep them on the corner. This seems to have them go more to the waterfall when they do their “runs in fear” low health dealio. Otherwise taking a lap around the right is your best bet to help reform it.

Could be a lil lag. Try turning off enemy nameplates and also try doing a slight backward or forward movement after you go left or right.

@@hexereye386 i found the solution, when you are swapping position on the ledge, tap your A or D one more time and it should fix the issue, so say you jump on the ledge quickly tap D

Yeah depending on the number of healers spawned in the chapel it can be a little rough at the very very end. Sometimes if it’s just being annoying I’ll feign death, cut my losses and do another

In fact it seems like half the mobs I kill despawn before I can loot them. Soft nerf maybe? I'm getting like 6 greens per run.

can try the backward and forward movement after you move left or right to have the mobs update. also going a little faster to keep them on the corner away from you can help. if theyre in range to melee they can kinda batch toward you.

Thanks for the advice. I am getting a bit more comfortable on the grouping part of it and the lap can definitely help. My next issue is trying to get them to head to the waterfall when they get low instead of walking towards me. I know you mentioned it helps if you keep them on the corner but just having a tough time with that. And man is it frustrating when you kill 90% of the mobs and are stuck with healers and then you feign and they just sit on the pile of corpses instead of running back. No loot!

If your pet is dead or not summoned you get the benefit of lone wolf. So at the end when he’s gone I’m getting the benefit

I think the talents are less impactful than using the right runes. Can make anything work, some specs maybe slightly better but not a world of difference I imagine

Make sure to be hitting the right icon. If you’re talking about the waterfall part before opening the door, then mash stay while you hit escape to cancel the eyes of the beast.

Popping cooldowns and dotting him extra is definitely solid

In general I don’t like entrapment because it can split the mobs unevenly because of the rng of it proccing. However I haven’t actually tried it yet, just basing that off of past experience with stuff. I could see a world where you proc enough especially juggling on the corner in order to keep them locked. I’ll probably still without entrapment even though I love it for PvP.

Sorry for the late reply but what ^ said works yeah. Personally I use the default Q and E to move side to side.

I totally understand the frustration. This video is made from one of my better runs, so it may look like I don’t struggle, but I still often have to reset a pull from a daze. You can definitely do it. One thing that may help is not going as fast through the mobs and letting them hit at the front. Jump turning is my best advice, sometimes you’ll just get unlucky with timing. I know you can do it though, keep trying and you’ll be successful

best bet is to weave up and down the statues during the kite they mobs will kinda pause cause searching for pathway.

I wasted so much time trying this pet pull nonsense. I developed a new strategy that is way more successful and gets me about 55-65 mobs per run. I have a few runs around 13min 30 seconds. I'm going to post a video of my run with tips. I fully disagree, kill phase is the hardest part when mobs happen to flee in every direction and mograine hasn't died yet.

Gear doesn't matter. You have to just learn the principals of the pulls. I have like half and half Gnomer/BFD gear. Also did this at lvl 36-40 on my second hunter.

Just inside the entrance they don’t have to get any closer. The first mob will aggro depending on their level. You can have them walk backwards right when they walk in to avoid pulling the first mob.

Totally RNG yeah. I’ve had a couple runs in a row with 15-16 sorcerers. The more you do the pet pull the more comfortable you’ll be skipping stuff. I mainly grab the ones in the grass and the straight aways in the covered pathway.

At 0:53 the bottom right corner of the video near the statues in the picture I’ve had pull during the kill phase from the mobs wandering close enough during their low health humanoid run.

Not too incredible. 5g raw from pickup then depending how big your bags are maybe another 5-10g from items. But can vary with using the AH vs vendor. When it comes to stuff like this. I usually vendor. Ends up not being worth my time to mess with the AH and just do more runs. Uldaman is likely a better gold farm for items etc. Something for me to look more into

Gear isn’t a real requirement here. I’m still using BFD 3 set and a little bit of pre Gnomer bis. I’m using lone wolf, explosive shot, expose weakness, serpent spread (doesn’t really matter) and trap launcher. I definitely should have covered this haha

Full survival i put a wowhead link in the description now too. The buff is a love is in the air hit chocolate I believe. Using them for fun since they get removed in Gnomer.

Take a lap to regroup. Otherwise you can keep them from going behind you if they start their low health flee when they are on the corner. The way you get them on the corner is by moving left and right rapidly

I think he is just geared, his explosive shot crits twice harder than mine (I'm lvl 39 full green Agi/Stam)

Gear definitely helps yeah. My other thought would be that I juggle the mobs pretty quickly up and down so they’re constantly moving around the corner and not casting. But they do cast here and there for sure. Sometimes the healer rng is just heavy and makes it annoying for me even. So I’d say try going up and down off the ledge quickly to kee them around the corner. The more grouped they are the more even the damage is with trap and explosive shot.

Thanks for the response! I do think keeping them extremely tight in that corner is my last issue I have till I can get this down. My gear is pretty good, I think having the gnomer gun would be a game changer, and hopefully the explosive shot buff this Tuesday helps. Cheers@@jaytullo5486

That’s part of the pre clear that I talk about in the beginning. You go around getting the sorcerers out of the important pathways.

With practice you’ll get the time down. I also recommend learning to skip sorcerers more and more. Like I say in the video you don’t need to sweat one or two mobs when the bulk of it is the cathedral. It’s good to get whatcha can as fast as you can make the route safe to pull and go again. Some runs can still have mistakes and take a bit longer but I was doing 15min runs pretty consistently on stream too. More practice and stuff and I know you’ll get it.

Yeah an unfortunate risk but thankfully I haven’t heard of any of the people I know having trouble.
