Hunter and McCall become involved in a string of bizarre murders when they're assigned as technical advisors for a television show. #hunter #fullepisode #freetv #80s #80sactionheroes #80stv #classics #classictv #cops #detective
something I didn't like about hunter is. on the studio and mcall calls for him and rushs in bumps people knocks lamps wich created a short killing the light making it easy for the criminal to get away once more. lol
Yep that made clear the writers weren't interested in 'reality' which I thought was ironic that it was mentioned as the TV show had lost its sense of reality. Normally Hunter should've been in the room in a cupboard or sth.
At the 11:56 mark, Hunter meets another actor dress as a policewoman. Isn't it amazing how much she sort of resembles Heather Locklear who was a regular on another TV police drama (TJ Hooker) at the time, but on a different network. I wonder if this was a subtle joke, from one show to another, or one network to another?
At 40:47 there is a big white "H & M" on a wood panel. I wonder if that stands for "Hunter & McCall." If so, that is a nice Easter egg by the prop guys!
This is the first episode in my rewatch after years and years that I actively disliked. It was a very sloppy episode. A lot of the things Hunter and McCall did wouldn't pass muster and hoo boy, that last fight scene was pretty bad that I could tell it was a stunt double for Fred Dryer. I don't usually notice those things! That said, no HUNTER episode is so bad that it's unwatchable. I loved the interaction with Jesse Ventura and the music was pretty good especially when Hunter was sneaking into the workshop. I also noticed the music had a bit of a horror movie vibe to it at times as well.
@@bobklaeren2079it's Jesse,, 'The Body'Ventura,I can see why you made the mistake of thinking it was Hulk Hogan in this Hunter episode as they do look a lot like each other.
Maybe it's okay for the American audience accustomed to advertisers disrupting their entertainment of which RU-vid apparently has modelled it's advertising style on with no care shown to those viewing content still haven't worked out how to be unobtrusive to the detriment of the viewing experience while it's acceptable that there will be commercials even Google has managed to include advertising without being intrusive into it's apps It's as if the only priority is given to the advertisers content and that's back to front logic can you at least avoid the transmission of commercials that appear during dialogue exchanges you'll end up driving away the audience then your advertisers won't reach their potential targets for the products they are trying to promote is it in your interest to alienate your audience so much they look elsewhere for less intrusive site advertising content you know they're out there in the end you lose if that doesn't matter in the end it will matter to your advertising revenue streams because they for sure will follow the audience you don't care about then it matters so fix it the simplest format would be to put all the commercials ahead of the feature content or the ticker tape that runs below you could run those sort for the entire duration of the featured content like Google does to my music player ap in fact they do both without intruding on the music player performance they obviously recognise the recipients who engage with their content so why can't you
Agreed there are too many too frequent ad breaks spoiling the viewing experience.I understand that's how RU-vid makes money but less ads would be better.
