Hello Belinda! If you do not have the Wi-Fi module, the controller will work like a normal Hunter controller. In order to connect the Hunter X2 controller to Wi-Fi you must have the Hunter Wi-Fi module. You can purchase these on amazon or at your local irrigation supply house. We hope this helps!

If you find it continually updating, I would pull the Wifi Wand out, let it cool down for a minute then put it back in.

This is code for update. That means you successfully connected and now the firmware is updating. This usually lasts about 2-4 minutes.

@@thriveos thanks, finally got it going after I entered the serial number from the controller

I keep getting this code. But it never updates, has been days, i had it shut off for the winter, now i cant use it at all

@@carlosmartinez6764 been awhile but I had to get the serial number for the controller to complete my setup. Can’t remember exact details sorry
