Unfortunately there’s bad apples in every bunch, and some people just can’t help themselves and have to say something negative! I think your doing the right thing by standing up for yourself against the negative ones themselves!! Great video.. 👍🏼
I hope your dad has a speedy recovery and can get into the woods this fall. As far as the whole baiting thing goes if you’re following the rules then there is nothing wrong. We as hunters have to come together and stop bashing each other. By doing this we are making it easier for the people that are against hunting a hole lot stronger. Thanks for another great video God Bless!
First and foremost Godspeed to Dads recovery. Second, love your hunting cabin. Cool digs. Third, if it is legal to bait feel no shame. My take is very few regular people (you and me) have the resources to afford proper planting and maintenance of a food plot. You work with what you have (corn and minerals) to not only hunt the deer but help the deer. Healthy deer survive and thrive. Keep up the good work. I commend you for posing the question. = wisdom.
Sorry to hear you gave up the tiny cabin, but you still have the hunting camp. I envy you for the fact that you can hunt with family. Hope your dad heals good. Baiting, and food plots are a matter of what is legal where you are. Looking forward to your videos on hunting. 👍🍺👍good luck this year.
I would say that a feeder and a food plot are similar. But like ya said, we as hunters shouldn't tear each other down. There is more than enough folks out there that are against what we hunters do. We gotta stick together and press on, stay vigilant. And happy hunting season to all 😊.
Good luck to Dad, and I have no issue with feeding deer, either by food plot or bagged corn or whatever else. It's legal, it's your property, and it's your decision and no one elses.. Sounds like the right move selling the other place too. One too many isn't a bad problem to have though !
Thank you it was a tough decision but getting spread thin. Dad is doing well and will be ready for bow season!! Thanks again for your continued support!
Hope your dad recovers quickly from his surgery. I know how it is wanting to go to camp. John, you do what you do, don’t worry what others think. Like you said it is legal and Jerod and I do it on our lease. Now when we are at camp we can’t, National Forest it is illegal to bait or put mineral out. Glad to see the video. Sorry you had to sell the little cabin property. But understand you have to do what you have to do. You don’t want to spread yourself out to thin. Thanks for sharing and look forward to all your videos. Juddie - J & J TOA
Thanks Juddie ! Dad is healing up real well and had the surgery scheduled so he will be able to get in n the woods come mid October. Thanks for commenting and all your support!
Great video buddy I hope you have some success this upcoming deer season. I run a couple of feeders. To me it is no different than hunting over a food plot.
I know what you mean and understand why you sold the cabin. Sometimes it seems all I do at our property is work and maintain. It sure is nice when I can just come up and relax! Sorry you had to deal with negative comments. You are within the law and all anyone needs to do is watch one of your vids to see you're ethical! Go for it! I would if I could! Wishing your dad a full and speedy recovery! Peace
Feeding and baiting is a personal choice. There is nothing wrong with it and it does not spread disease like the gov says it does. It is illegle here in michigan and hopefully that will change. Stuck in the middle os the woods, great place to be and the pond is real nice. Kinda like our place but no pond so i had to make my own hillbilly water hole.
Nice video bud. Hope for a speedy recovery for ur dad. I know the feeling taking ur daughter off to college been there. As far as baiting do what you do. It’s legal I get the same thing here in Michigan’s U.P. fact I had a comment that said I’m a felon and felons can’t have guns. He was saying by me baiting that I’m a felon. So let them say what they want
Thanks Dan! I don’t care what anyone says but as you and I have both said we as hunters need to stick together. Dad is doing well and my daughter is settling in nicely.
