In northeast Louisiana there’s not many cows except for what’s on the Mississippi River levee so we get to hop on cotton bales instead of hay bales nice vid lots of dove in north east la pumped for season

Great video... Now after try decoing them you have to try change the shooting set up for small birds like them try use 9 or 10 shot and modified or imp.cilinder choke you will see the difference

@@JordansHarvest is not for your shooting percentage! Is because i want you to try... here in Italy i hunt smalbirds like starlings (that are illogically protected) thrush, blackbird and fieldfare are similar size and i prefer smaller shot even for mourning doves 9 shot i think will do the job

Great video Jordan. The dairy videos are always one of my favorites. If you do a patterning video, the Muller choke patterns best with 1400fps shells

@@JordansHarvest yeah most chokes do actually from my experiences. The guy who owns Muller chokes said it’s a physics thing and once you reach 1500fps, you start to get more fliers in your pattern, which is what I’ve noticed as well. And shooting the slower shells, you get a better pattern and more kinetic energy on target!

Any tips for hunting pigeons that seem to have no interest in my decoys?

That’s a tough one. There are a lot of variables. Are they seeing you for sure? A motion decoy goes a long way. If your not where they want to be, it can be very hard to pull them off the flight line. If they have been shot at a few times, make sure your hidden. They pick up on movement very quickly so make sure you hold still

I'm ready for dove season my second favorite next to waterfowl season. Any issues getting ammo there or has it come back a bit? Did u see the new hevi shot heavy dove a 3 inch 7 shot. I bought a box because it's 35.99 here but I want to try it. A 3 inch dove load and Bismuth seems insane lol
