Not gonna lie, seeing the Icy hate comments hurt me pretty badly. I started watching IGP and Icy and they still never fail to make me laugh with their dual shrill screams for horror games to this day. I feel like alot of those awful comments should have been kept in their own heads and not left in the open on the user's video.

A little bit of Emu context for IGP and anyone else who is interested, the reason the war was lost is because emus are so fast and easily alerted coupled with the fact their vital organs are such a small part of their bodies, it lead to situations where they would go through hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammo and only killing like 98 or so emus. The war became more expensive than the damage the emus were doing.

IGP, I looked it up too about the Great Emu War, and yes it's actually real. Here: The Emu War, also known as the Great Emu War, was a nuisance wildlife management military operation undertaken in Australia over the later part of 1932 to address public concern over the number of emus said to be destroying crops in the Campion district within the Wheatbelt of Western Australia. Despite those casualties, it's safe to say that the Aussies lost the Great Emu War. Never thought this was real until now 💀 Edit: That sound when they pull the bolt action back on the sniper is possibly the HDR or the AX-50 bolt action sound Effect from Call of Duty MW Warzone. It just sounds like it's high Pitched.

The reason the Aussies lost the Emu War was because they underestimated the Emus. They learned to recognize the sound of the approaching trucks, and one emu would stand guard while the rest ate. Plus, Emus are like, 60% feather. It’s REALLY hard to hit a kill shot on them, especially while on a moving truck.

I like how everyone imagines the Aussie Emu wars as like this great big deployment of armed forces into the wilds of Australia to go kill thousands of emus when in reality it was like 4 guys, a jeep and a machine gun and they basically just got bored or ran out of ammo and fucked off back to base, thus practically ending the war.

So basically, emus organs are all in a very small location in their bodies instead of filling it out entirely like most animals. They can take bullet after bullet and just keep running. They used sentries, basically look out emus that would alarm at the sight of danger. The emus even learned what the vehicles sounded like so they could dip out before they even had chance to be shot at. They thinned the numbers down quite a bit but, yeah. The emus remain victorious 😂

The emu war was real but historically I think they only sent in like 4 guys that were in the military with limited ammunition, to kill them off. The guys ran out of ammo and called it a day. Thefatelectrician does a great video on this.

Yeah Skilly was telling the truth: in 1932 there was an “Emu War” that the Australian military took action against the massive population of emus in the country but they eventually felt that not enough was done to make any difference so they called off the military and since then nothing else has technically been done besides an attempted bounty placed on poaching emus.
