Today I'm taking you loverly people with me to try on a whopping eleven wedding dresses in one day! Let me tell you, it was a gauntlet getting all these baddies on and off for like 3 hours straight, but we did it and came out with some very interesting options for my wedding dress... dare I say.... THE ONE????
Anyways, thank you infinitely to Liz at Cinq who got me in and out of all these dresses and kept our moral up (and extended our appointment time like crazy!)
Another huge thank you to my friends near and far who rallied around me to give me only the best opinions!

Of the top 3, you literally lit up in #2. It's beautiful and the fact that you really could move in it has to count for something if you are going to wear it for the entire day. All that being said, they were all beautiful and you were beautiful in them.

Dress no 2 out of your top 3 no brainer. You can do any of the other silhouettes any other day but the Disney princess silhouette is THE wedding silhouette for you. And it looked beautiful which adds points. Literally all of them look perfect though.

@@hannahwalmer1124 Wow. Random snarking about semantics employed in a compliment on YT is the epitome of pettiness. That being said, "literally" is often used as an intensifier and Merriam-Webster says there is nothing wrong with it. And for the record, most comment sections on the internet are neither an English class nor a spelling bee. The lesson learned here, Hannah, is you need to, literally, lighten up. In addition, since you went there, the use of the word "bursted" for the past tense of "burst" is a common error, but it is not a valid word. As a rule, always use the past tense of the word, which is "burst." Class is dismissed.

@@starandflurry see, I learned something new from you. I will now correct my verbiage and apply what you’ve said. Also, regardless of what the dictionary says, it doesn’t make sense to say something is literally one thing, when it’s not, not matter how you twist it.

@@hannahwalmer1124 Not to belabor the point...but I will. The dictionary is kind of the go-to rule setter, so I am not the one twisting anything. But I do hear your point and literally strive to refrain from using the word "literally" as an intensifier, very often. But, on occasion, I fail. 🤷🏻‍♀ As do we all.

I don't even know specifically why, but dress #7 with the gauzy sleeves is so stunning. You completely lit up when you put it on. Definitely a favourite!

I LOVE the mermaid one that’s a a mash up of the princess dress and the mermaid style. It screams Vivian Westwood and yet there’s something so timeless and stunning about it too. It gives body and class and I hope it fights its way to the top of your list because you look epic in it. So happy to see you happy, girl. Been a fan for years!

I literally bought my wedding dress this week (on monday) so I absolutely feel you on wedding dress fatigue. But honestly, the princess dress is so nice on you if you want to go ballgown, but the silk mermaid one with the drapey asymmetric sleeves is PERFECT

im partial to #7 and #8!! 8 is probably my favorite--the shape is just so elegant and gorgeous and unique. you look AMAZING in it and i love the puff sleeve combined with the sheer sleeves. 7 is also gorgeous and I think being able to move around and dance and be merry makes it a top top contender. also, you lit up so much when you tried it on

Dress #8 100000%!!! It looks amazing and ethereal on you and looks so comfortable and magical to be in! Think it also matches the English countryside setting you mentioned. But #1 in the top 3 is also gorg and think that would make a great after party/rehearsal dress!

I’m obsessed with the one you described as having a fau empire waist- the more straight across neckline with beaded sleeves. It is the perfect amount of fitted to you but also flowy at the bottom. It’s making me wish I could have tried on a dress with that material, it’s so unique and vintage looking but still modern.

Ardie out of your top three, #2 and #3 are YOUR DRESS hands down!! You absolutely lit up in them and the flowy/ballgown shapes fit the billowy English countryside so well. Can’t wait to see which one you pick!

i love love love the first dress you tried on, especially with the sleeves. The sleeves pull it all together. It's so whimsical. The only thing I can think of when i picture the vibe you're going for, is Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush and I mean that as such a big COMPLIMENT.

of the top three: 1st one is so whimsical and beautiful and gives me fairy vibes but I think different sleeves maybe? You look beautiful in it either way! 2nd one is absolutely my favorite - genuinely perfect and so flattering on you. These dresses were absolutely gorgeous!! The dress you were wearing in the intro - that made it into the top 3 - was absolutely stunning!! And the first dress in your top 3 too! I'm not gonna lie, I kinda also really loved dress number nine - which I know wasn't your favourite - and the second to last dress (with the pearls) that you tried!! I honestly can’t pick between the second or third in the top three! The second is such a classic fool proof dress but the third I think would look ridiculous on some people but on you it looked amazing and whimsical and I feel like suited your style really well.

Dress #1 is my personal favorite on you, though all looked stunning! Recommendation: try on the dresses in reverse order so you try to the ones you thought were sleeper hits first and the ones you loved the most last. That way you know it's not just the dress fatigue saying no to something.

#1 and #2 in the top 3 are impossible to choose from!!! They’re both giving English countryside core in very different ways. You absolutely slay in both. Both look comfortable to wear. First one is more cottage core, second one is more royalty.
