Hunting for shore fishing spots in Manitoba

Hey welcome back to another video.
Today is less paddling and more walking, I’m heading around Manitoba before the snow comes so I can scope out some shore fishing spots!
I do know about the staple places like lock port, Selkirk, and all those but I’m hoping to find less traveled places.
So let me know what spot you liked the most, was it the first one, Elma creek? The second, Whitemouth? Or the third, River hills?

Great Video Kate , that was a big Walleye in the beginning for sure. Did you get the PM I sent you in IG concerning that 8 fans jacket ? You could probably use their waders and and wading boots around those rocks lol. Have a great week my friend and tight lines. 🎣

Ouuu I did not!! I’ll look harder and see about those wading boots hehe! It might be too cold though? Or I guess I could size up and layer up lol!!

It was the frog lure with the pompous and propeller!! I shouldn’t have used it first at a new spot before using something else to find the snags

Many nice places along the Whitemouth R. You didn't make it to the falls where it empties into the Wpg R. Many times the 'go to' for my daughter and I, only b/c it is such a nice spot. Many of our best fishing trips to the falls didn't yield any fish.

It’s such a pretty spot!! I did get there the next day! And you’re right no fish haha but so pretty! Too close to the falls and it’s snag city I like walking a bit to the right and go to the over flow caution sign I’ve been catching pike there!

@@Reelsoverheels Last time we were at the falls Ashleigh caught a bunch of suckers on a pickerel rig and crawlers. I was using a jig and caught nothing..
