Watched your video this morning and hit my Salvation Army on my lunch break and found a clean white Wii with all the hookups, wiimote, nunchuk and Wii Sports for $40. Finally a little luck came my way. It's been tough hunting in New England. Keep the vids coming my dudes it's good motivation

Haven't found a lot so far but best tip is keep hunting for games. So far I got a fat ps2 cib $40, sealed first prints of saints row for $15 and cod mw2 for $6 for xbox 360. Also got a jojo's bizarre adventure all star battle sealed for $200. Sometimes you got to pay up for rare games

I'm in Northeast Ohio and everything is dead during the winter. I haven't seen ANY games at a Goodwill or Salvation Army near me in 3 or 4 years other than Ratchet and Clank All 4 One at a Goodwill that I bought myself for about $4. Literally the only one and I stop probably almost every week.

Hello my competition...lol. Just kidding. I don't scavenge like I used to 10-20 years ago. I used to love the HPB in Mentor but they closed and the closest one to me is in Mayfield. Now I'm just selling off my collection slowly. Good luck hunting!

@@EdsHead yep. Lake County is dead! I've checked it all. I grabbed some SOCOM games for myself at that former Antique Co-Op but no deals anywhere. Maybe garage sales will be better but those haven't been any good the last few years either. It just isn't a huge market is my guess.

If you really are looking for deals, I need to tell you about the oversize garbage area at my condo. I swear on everything holy, I've found over $500 in stuff last year alone, it has it's downpours and dry times. However, some highlights, a working PS3 slim with Minecraft in it, just needed new thermal paste and a cleaning, all of the DS and 3DS pokemon games in case, random PS3 and 4 games. I'm telling you, when they throw out kids furniture, they aren't fully cleaning out the drawers and they're just hanging out and would end up at the dump otherwise. I do try to grab anything else of value and donate it as to try to offset my taxes as well. Gotta get that 1099 handled gents.

I found an Atari flash back new in box sold on Facebook for 35 a mega man for gameboy cartridge and a box full of watch’s ( still have some but have already made over a hundred on mecari). At my apartment dumpster so I believe you. Getting paid to take out the trash is an awesome feeling!!

If it is a good game at Goodwill, more times than not the game is miss from the case. So frustrating that people are stealing the games.

That seagate ssd that was next to the green 2ds was the Xbox series internal upgrade. They retail for like $250 they were askin $100 and would prolly take $80. A killer deal and easy flip if you don’t need 1

Glad you mentioned adding in a percentage for taxes. Starting in 2022, everyone who has a sales total of $600 on selling apps will be getting a 1099-k...so if people are getting into this thinking they're not gonna pay the piper, they are sorely mistaken. Uncle Sam wants his ching ching! Good winter flips, fellas!

Cool finds man. My local goodwill sucks and they mainly only have music cds, dvds and vhs. I seen video games there before very rarely at all, but it does depend on the city area and basically location in general. I still like video game hunting and I still love brick and motor stores and flea markets as well. I still love playing retro games too. Cool video and take care.

The new tax laws in 2022 for online sellers have turned me off of selling online anymore. If you make over $600 for the year, it gets reported to the IRS. You then have to pay taxes on the profit.

Ya it's frustrating for sure. But either way 2021 I was over the old threshold to will have to pay taxes anyway. That's why I keep track of everything throughout the year. Cheers!

Yeah I completely avoid the pawn shop down the road from me. They have a decent selection but ask for eBay prices or even way above in some cases.

I’ve been burned on vcrs and combos so now I only pick up at my local goodwills retail stores only ( not outlets). Because in my area all electronics have 30 days to return and you get store credit, good for 90 days. And if your like me 90 days is plenty of time to spend money at goodwill.

Killing it as always fellas! I hit the thrifts and pawns on a regular. Same as you do on the way to work or on my days off. Totally hit or miss, but the key is going frequently. Most days you hit nothing, once in awhile you find Fire Emblem Path of Radiance on the GameCube for $6 like I did last week. 🤑 That looked like a tasty beer. Always love the beer recommendations too! 🍻

Ended up getting two 360s that had no cables untested with Minecraft in the disk trays for 7 a piece. Thought the same thing about the fact that the game itself was worth the price of the systems.

That was an Xbox series S/X Storage expansion next to the 2DS at the beginning. You can easily sell those for around 170 bucks used, which would have been $70 minus fees and shipping profit.

Are you guys seeing Goodwills in the Des Moines charging near retail prices for games? Here in the Quad Cities I have noticed for about the last 3 months they went from using the cheap little tags and decent prices to full on stickers with bar codes and now price everything, but 360/PS3 at ebay prices. Not sure how they operate, but its almost like they had new management come into the area.

Our Goodwills here send their games out for their website. On rare occasions we’ll catch a game in the dump bins but rarely. I’ve almost cut Goodwill out of my hunting route all together but occasionally snag good DVDs there. Thanks for watching! Cheers!

@@vastneon I spend about 45 min 5 days a week hunting. I’m fortunate that my drive home from work has a place to ship, 2 pawns and 2 thrifts all on the same street. Definitely blessed with that. Keeps it pretty efficient. Best of luck out there hunting. Cheers!

Not enough money there to warrant listing and shipping. It's tough to sell a DVD for a buck or 2 and charge $3 shipping ya know. So I'll trade them in for a little bit at the local pawns or hobby shop. Good question. Cheers!
