How can I get into reenacting?
@dannyengineer9862
@dannyengineer9862 Год назад
@@towerranch If there's any military museum in your area, check in with them to see if they have Reenactments or events that will or have happened. Then go to those events, and talk to the reenactors of your interest to join. Then of course, spend many years and money building up your kit depending on the era. I hoped this has helped.

absolutely fantastic video! I congratulate you for the excellent shots! I'm from Italy and I'm exactly a re-enactor like you! where I come from (near the Giogo pass, Firenzuola) often a group I know organizes full living history events, the last one I attended was themed "hurtgen forest" with organized teams and continuous patrols and night patrols lasting 2 hours plus or less at 6 degrees with the typical icy wind of the pass! doing these events makes you realize the continuous suffering that American and German troops suffered during these operations…

Thank you! Since we were on a military base here we left our brass, but I’d guess they have some method of cleaning it up periodically because they do a lot of blank fire training in this area. Im a youtuber myself and i showed my grandfather this video and he told me this reminded him of that time he was in Belgium and he was all alone he got lost from his group and he stumbled upon a line of german tanks, one is a king tiger and 3 are panzer IV and he decided to pick up a abandoned panzerschreck and shot the PZ IV At the side armor causing the tank to burn and explode he said it looked horrifying he actually saw the germans gathering around the burning tank questioning what caused it to explode.he said that if he targeted the king tiger he would've never evermade it out of that dangerous and also heroic incident, after that he eventually found another US Lost soldier and they just continued trying to find the other US Soldiers and he said it took them 16 days to find a US Squadron. He said he was so hungry he was starting to act like a psychopath and he mentioned to me that if he spent 4 more days out there he would've gon crazy. This really shows the traumatising moments of war and my grandfather said the deaths are traumatising but the trauma itself is the killer.

Like yeah obviously since no bullets are being used you're not going to actually hit anyone at a distance, but a blank can still do real damage up close or even kill so I feel that's a potential health and safety risk say if someone runs in front of your line of fire or something point blank.
