I might stake everything I own on that deer being 5 or older. But to quote my grandfather from early season this year after I asked him how old he thought a buck he passed on was “I didn’t get the chance to tackle him and check his teeth” always go with your gut on a place you’ll be hunting long term

I love mine. Be careful shooting tight groups the fletching rip off super easy if the arrows hit each other.

ive have blazers on my current fmj's so shouldnt be any different. but i totally know what you mean i usually only shoot a grouping while tuning my bow in and pick different points of the bag target to make sure im accurate and not ruining arrows. @@DrunkinDonut573

Chris the world needs a video. So you know how everyone is talking about the dragon x8 right cheap bow on Amazon but works well. So I’m hearing some guys talking about I wish we had a U.S.A. bow you can order online bc the dragon is from china… well I bought a lanneret compound bow off Amazon $180 0-70lbs draw back and up to 31 inch draw length a little shorter to alow maneuverability we need a video on how it works and how to set draw length and just your honest opinion on it.

I love your videos man. As a swedish hunter it is illegal to use bow and arrow so its nice to watch when you hunt with it. Do you ever shoot does? Or is it a thing in usa overall that you dont shoot does? Would be so cool to hunt with bow and arrow one day

I hope that’s what you want, and not what you’ve felt pressured in to doing by all the 200” trophy hunters out there on RU-vid. I don’t know how it’s possible to pass a deer like that. I would understand more if it looked 2 yrs old or even 3 but man….that’s a tough pill to swallow. It hurts thinking about how much you would have enjoyed that hunt and harvesting that animal. Instead sleepless nights wondering if it was “fully mature”. I fear the hunting community is getting more about raising their own deer opposed to just getting out there and enjoying hunting

It’s always tough on a first year farm like this with strict management, we errored on the safe side! This deer would have been smoked in a different scenario.

Midwest deer a different, I agree I think he’s 4 and a good pass. It’s a hard choice but you can’t shoot 180s if you always shoot 150s.
