I cannot wait for October and November here in Pennsylvania. Chasing big woods mountain whitetails is a way of life for me. It is in my blood... It is part of my DNA.... Men are meant to be in the outdoors hiking, hunting, fishing and being active!
We bow hunt, shotgun hunt and muzzleloader hunt deer yearly. I took three does last year as our state gets a ton of outfitter hunters. We have found they are generally hunting racks not deer for meat. This throws off the herd and can bring about diseases. We manage the herd to maintain a healthy harvest. Carnivore 5 yrs now I eat only ruminant meats. Great video guys!
My hunting Brothers! This is great for me to see. Brian makes some of the best back county hunting videos there are. Big time respect for both Brian and Ryan. Glad they went Carnivore.
I’m a big fan of Alone on the History channel. Love to see all the techniques used for trapping, fishing, snaring, and of course, bow hunting. Some of these methods are ancient. I like to imagine that I would have been an enthusiastic hunter, especially if I needed to feed my family. So stupid to make the government in charge of culling animals and then be taxed for it.
Great stuff. My state allows me 12 deer tags and I fill them all if I can. We also hunt ducks and geese and fish for salmon and trout. I buy a couple lambs and a cow every year, raise chickens for eggs and that rounds out our diet. Grocery trips are bacon, butter, coffee and paper products. Life is good as an outdoor carnivore!
No species has ever gone extinct that has been managed using the North American model of wildlife conservation. Just let the departments of wildlife and the hunters do their thing and those species will all be there for future generations to enjoy.
Wolves are brought in for 2 reasons. One. The tree huggers wanted. Two. Decrease the deer pop. That equals less tags and less hunters. Gun control. Comment I'm wrong all you want. Straight Facts!!
Bryan, make your own pemican/carnivore bars! Use silicon molds and use beef tallow. Package them in individual vacuum seal bags for in the field usage. I add French Grey sea salt and sometimes dried berries for palatability and flavor.
Thank you for being honest. 6:44 We, lay people are suffering from this so badly and the people who are so popular on social media and TV shows get access because of their ability to get access but the rest of us don't get some access.
The local Uni had a pile of deer in a pickup. They come out of the National Forest all year but mostly in the spring. I don't know what is going on there with the deer that try to cross the campus.
Heading for Texas in a few months for an Axis deer hunt and the wife and I have elk tags for Northern AZ this year!!! One thing I have noticed about new age hunters is they eat like crap. Sugar sugar sugar. All junk food and carbs. Never ever ate like that when young and just do not know where that came from. My hope is they will see Brian and Ryan doing carnivore and get the hint. After all, they are not out there hunting gummy bears or honey bears.
It’s pretty safe to say that if hunting moved away from some of its hypocrisies it would help prove its intentions. In my state only one in three is willing to shoot a doe for the “good” of the herd. We talk population control till we’re green yet state agencies have to nearly force us to shoot them while we claim we’re not trophy hunters. Is the doe hunt the most important hunter us? Do we really love all deer the same ? I’m just saying that what we say and what we do are not always the same.
My grandfather hunted and fished but my father didn't like hunting at all he hated killing anything we're still ate a lot of meat my brother enjoyed hunting and fishing but my first husband didn't like it at all either he didn't want to kill anything
Most of the world, the West particularly, is in population decline. We need to promote families again, rather than atomization & loneliness. You want to force population control? You'll have to start with particular family-centric nations, Muslim & otherwise, in the Middle East & Africa. Good luck trying to change culture though. You people just don't think.
