Oh my goodness he could have mentioned anything else but he chose 🍉. I have been battling with giving up watermelon in my carnivore. Talk of being tagged!!! I hear you
Dr Baker, PLEASE have a sound person fix your setup! If there is a bandwidth problem, fix it! You seem to have a very expensive setup and it is being wasted by all the cuts, clicks and waves drowning out your message. I am sure the message is being lost from the terrible audio. I struggle through, but I am already a believer. Someone curious would be out in 5 minutes... PLEASE! This IS NOT the first video with issues. Maybe listen to one of the recordings and see what is wrong. You have a powerful message being lost to noise... Tammy sounded excellent. Someone on Dr Bakers team, please help him address this!
Im a 64 YO, WM with T2 diabetes. August 1st this year i limped into urgent care to try and get Prednisone for my pain. I had severe pain in a dozen joints. The Dr told me I had polyarthralgia. Never asked about my diet. I started carnivore that day and haven’t looked back. Today, Oct 16, so 10 weeks in, I’m pretty much pain free and have lost 40 lbs. i eat a ribeye and a small burger with tons of butter and salt every day. That’s it. And I’m never hungry. Amazed.
Shawn, I know you eat pretty much just red meat, and it seems like mostly rib eye. My question is, do you track the % of fat you are getting v protein? Or is rib eye pretty much the perfect ratio of fat to protein and you just leave it at that?

Six weeks ago I broke my hip & had to go to the ER. For whatever reason I told the ER doctor that I was on the Carnivore Diet & he scolded me & told me I was going to get scurvy! The next thing I knew my son called me & told me that the ER doctor called him & was not happy about my diet & told my son that I was going to get scurvy. Before long the whole family was up in arms about my getting scurvy! It was very annoying but in the end I just laughed it off.
Thanks. I am the Jason in this video. I appreciate your support. I have been distilling for 20+ yrs but only recently started remineralizing the distilled water in the last 1-1.5 yrs after bone mass loss was noticed.
@carnivoregetaways nice, yeah, I am still dialing in my salt solution that I add back. Before carnivore, I spent years with this weird fascination about the salt content of natural fresh water. (Lakes and rivers) Carnivore just finally pushed me to apply that research. No need to ask, I am still working with guessed numbers 😅
Hello Matt - your video inspired so much that I've been on strict carnivore for the past month. However my PSA as of this morning has been unchanged, going from 6.0 to 5.9. How long did your PSA take to go down? It seems it was pretty quick like most anecdotal reports I've heard.
My best friend couldn't understand why I didn't like salads , a super salad created IBS for me. I had that condition for about 5 years. No body believed me. The doctors said stay with it, I asked why??? You don't tell a person to eat more peanuts if they have a reaction. I always loved bacon and meat, I am more carnivore now, no IBS, no more hip and back pain which the doctors said was chronic and need to take meds. I finally asked for CT scans. There is nothing wrong with me. That's when I decided to go Keto, then Ketovore, and easing into Carnivore 2 meals a day and I have no pain or IBS anymore. I just don't go to the doctor anymore unless I have a broken bone or life threatening event.
The carnivore diet has cured me of my yawning. I used to yawn all the time but now I don’t yawn anymore. Did anyone else have any yawning problems where you yawned before and now you don’t yawn cause your yawning problem where you yawned a lot went away? 😎
@AnneMB955 that happens, and I'm sorry for your loss. Treating bitcoin like stocks and commodities isn't the way. If that wasn't why you guys lost so much, then I have to assume your view isn't as long term as mine.
Sitting at Quest Diognostics waiting for routine blood. I think carnivor or low carb could cure about half these people. Fat shaming everyone in my mind, at least.
I am the Jason in this video. I appreciate that you watched it. I hope you appreciated something I've said regardless of my monotone voice. Hopefully, the way I speak isn't too distracting from the important message, which is that an ancestrally appropriate lifestyle leads to better health than the norm.
Same with my teeth. Gum disease gone and plague dissolved. Haven't been to a dentist in 7 years. Using toothpaste with Xyiltol, no fluoride or other garbage.
Please read the latest studies on Xylitol, erythritol. Causes higher risk of strokes and heart attacks. Anything chemically processed - and ALL sweetners are chemically processed - whether they are fruit based or artificial- can cause all kinds of serious health risks.
@@mining4goldmeister420 I'm guessing that he isn't swallowing the toothpaste. I do agree that we carnivores need no brushing but flossing really helps get that tough meat stuck between my sprockets, lol. They called me sprocket mouth in the Navy because I have a large gap between my front teeth. It's genetic because a lot of my siblings had the same gap. Some got braces but I figured it was handy to spit thru that gap to hit the cat in the eye. At 74 I still have my own teeth but I do go to the dentist yearly because I have implants and crowns. Only on carnivore for 27 months.
@@paulcallicoat7597 Xylitol is known to help dissolve plague. I retired from the Navy and I also have a big space in my front teeth from my grandfather. Small world.
There is no evidence that he has anything wrong with him. He suffered a laryngeal injury from Jui-Jitsu that he had to have surgery to repair, a couple years ago. I have only been on carnivore for 27 months and have had no colds or flu since I started. My immune system is better at 74 than it was at 34. Suffered a lot of bronchitis and chest colds from my early teens after I had my tonsils removed. I wished I'd not allowed them to do it.Every head cold would be in my chest within a short amount of time. I probably had 4 to 5 colds a year over the years.

I hate the term "lion diet", it makes is sound like something unnatural to humans to the uninitiated, when in fact carnivore is the species appropriate species specific diet of humans.
I can personally say that it does make alcohol less appealing for me at least. I'm not an alcoholic, but enjoyed wine, beer or bourbon several times a week. Now, no real desire for any of them.
Carnivore seems to help with mental confusion, which can make you feel better to be able to stay strong mentally to stay on track for addiction. It’s hard to start the diet. You feel bad at first but it gets better after a few weeks. I use to drink alcohol but I get very sick if I drink alcohol. So I won’t drink due to bad side effects. I pray you find an answer.
Getting the nutrients in meat my body needs has helped, as well as having animal based foods on hand to replace the junk. I still have to think ahead about triggers for cravings . Meeting with a health coach a few times has helped me with that process .
It helps with all addictions. Once you are off the addiction of sugar, seed oils, and garbage food while eating Fatty Beef and/or Fatty Lamb your brain starts to heal and other addictions become obsolete. That is just the way it works with this lifestyle, not diet.
