Its a solid unit. I rekon the IR Model would be handy too. A little more punchy then the standard atn one

Yeah that's the one I just reviewed. Great little torch but would rather have had a red light option than the IR940. That being said it will be a handy torch in the gear bag nonetheless.

The reason that some animals don't react to red light is they have dichromatic vision and don't see reds and oranges. Rabbits are an example of this.

Avoid anything with title like “hunting” , “ military grade” , “airplane aluminium grade” etc
