I like it too. I have been reading all the comments as they come in. Just busy with other projects. Making vids not uploaded yet. Next is preserving Asparagus till next year. Peace.
Its really amazing how these wild asparagus grow in wild .. Here in the philippines they are so expensive all u can see is wild tall grass and carabao grass lol .. I loving this video and thanks for sharing 🥰
In my country so easy to find asparagus Just go to the market... Then just pick up at the rack.... So easy From Malaysia 🇲🇾 🇲🇾 🇲🇾 🇲🇾 Luv u oll.... Vegetarian guy Salam 420.... Smoke some weed... Make u happy
As silly as it sounds there is such a sense of accomplishment or good luck finding wild food. Growing up I got such a thrill finding wild blueberries and blackberries. There was so many the North West I could spend most of the day eating them. It's true, fresh and wild can taste so different, it's like a totally different food than store bought varieties. In a good way haha.
Asparagus is on the roadside I can't believe it's in a place full of weeds I feel like I'm going to eat vegetables like in Korea It's a really delicious side dish I'm planting seeds on the rooftop garden, too It's a pleasant day. I often want to see this kind of asparagus harvest It's so nice.
Thanks for video. I really appreciate your kindness sharing such interesting video. I love Asparagus but it doesn’t grow naturally in my village, Japan.
I absolutely love wild fruit and vegetables... in the Philippines we eat alot of fruit and vegetables from the wild... so much better than mass produced supermarket stuff. So much better for your mind and spirit.
I was waiting to get back to your comment. I read everything on here. Was busy building the correct portable solar charging station over the weekend. I like veggies more than fruit for some reason. Also good cuts of steak. I need Iron. Mostly I am Medicinal. Asparagus has a Anti Cancer Molecule. I ate all of that harvest to the point that my body stunk. I knew to stay away from people. I feel really good right now. Thank You for being here.
I have an Asparagus patch that is just moving into its second year. Looking forward to harvesting it in Spring next year. I hope it multiplies without bound and spreads through my lawn :)
Our family farm is going on the same patch for the last 30 years. Givin us way more than anyone will ever need in a life time. I love it but damn the next morning pee can be a little off putting😂
I visited Utah and it grows like crazy. People were along the road with trash bags full. I shared the story that in Imperial Valley fields are protected by men with rifles. Then they cost 25.00 a box.
I Hunt with a friend who really has the eye for it. They are difficult to really see basically because they blend with the high grass. We went today and working on a vid right now. Thank you for watching and I love that snap of Spring.
Did somebody plant those Asparagus like in a farm? Maybe, there was an abandoned farm of Asparagus, and they grew wildly after the owner left the farm. They look so tasty and so fresh. Yum yum 😋.
I think at one time an Asparagus farm was there back in the 1930's. It take a long time for Asparagus to start really growing. Five years if it even wants to grow. We are Harvesting Wild Remnants on the edge of a farm from long ago. Very good. We went today. Working on the video. There are other areas that are top secret. Thank you for watching. My channel has so many kinds of videos.
We leave some to grow beyond. They make a tree of some sort with red berry seeds for the next round. That is key to keep a yearly harvest. Great Question.
You would have to know that there is a crop there. May I suggest that you look for the full grown plant, around August / September. Make a note of exactly where it is and come back in March, April, and May to harvest. Most people have no idea what a full grown asparagus plant looks like! What you are picking and eating is the tender shoots of a much larger plant. I have now located several places for picking next spring, and I will definitely make the most of this delicious, nutritious, tasty, and free food source. I will not be telling anyone else where this is😅! It is ALL MINE!
A little tip for anyone watching- pickled asparagus are really good on salads 😋😋 i love pickled asparagus, especially when its been pickled with hot peppers
Amazing, awesome.. wild harvest is very good, how can that asparagus grow a lot there, did you sow the seeds😂, I really like watching videos like this it is very calming and satisfying, if there is a video like this fruit or vegetable I would like to watch it, Thanks Upload this Video Bro, have a Nice days
@@ZPDSurvival I would appreciate it. I would watch it also. Is this what your channel is about? I seen other videos and came across your. Truly enjoy watching this.
@@karendegeyter2937 We are getting ready to Hunt Asparagus again in a couple of weeks. I do this every year. I have a lot of DYI and just Pure Artistic music Videos. Project and Places. Nature Adventures. Most of the old political stuff has been deleted. I am about to make a video on May flowers after a cold winter. Thank you for watching. Peace. I think I have over a Thousand Videos.
ohh How lucky they are.. Asparagus is just around crawling their fields like grass .. that is so delicious.. here in the Philippines , that is so expensive , we call it FOOD for the Rich .
I told my friend your comment over the past weekend and he was like What? I understand. On the other hand, You have food that I can't get here easily. Peace. I love seafood.
Wow I love asparagus, it is cosky in our country. How come they grow so many in the wild. I usually fired with chillies, small onions n shrimp paste. Very tasty
It tastes like Asparagus. I thought About this for awhile after your question. There are so many good things about it for cleansing your body. Makes your pee stink because your body is getting rid of toxins. If you eat enough it permeates for a couple of days. I could rank it in the Brussel sprout crowd for being sulfer. Cleansing the body of toxins.
Very good eating. I ate so much and feel really good. Final vid for this year on this subject it preserving it. Then I am getting ready for Porch Jam June 18th. I basically set it all up. In the woods.
