Dear Lianne, hello from France! I start to write a book in french about female fronted Heavy Metal in the 70s/90s, I will be really interesting please if you can answer at a couple of questions for the book, the first idea was to write an encyclopedia with + 1200 lps/7/ep/demos listed but also having some exclusives infos from the bands members. If you agree...thank you very much. Terry
Hey this is the Huntress singer Neenah. Gretchen, Laura, Trina, or LeaAnn......you guys still playing??? I can still sing. lol. Yes , we were an awesome band. And what's up with other bands trying to steal and use our name....which the name "Huntree" is legally ours and legally protected. FYI other "want to be" Huntress bands be original and change your band's name.

I'm no lawyer, but if the name isn't active then once it's expired then it's fair game for whoever else wants to trademark it. You're definitely the better of the 2, as today's metal doesn't hold a candle to that of yesteryear. Have you contacted the newer Huntress yet?
I saw them in Austin at "South By Southwest" (SXSW) in '90. They played at "The Backroom" and I swear to God, every musician in the place had their mouth hung wide-open, hilarious! They put on a great show, for me to remember that 21 years later is proof of that!!!
I work at a trauma one level hospital at Jacksonville, Fl and guess who I work with....THE LEAD SINGER OF THIS GROUP!! She is a nurse now and she says she still sings for fun and you might catch her at a bar singing for fun. She also says thanks for all the comments and she is moving back to Hot Atlanta! Look for her there. Thanks again for the comments!! Neenah says "ROCK ON!!"
Do Sparrow - PLEASE Great Song. BTW Eileen Vlasheen was the Original Singer for Huntress with Gretchen, Laura, Trina, and LeaAnn Back in the Clark Park Days Trina is still Playing and Excellent
The Ep is available for purchase. ALL players were and still are awesome. Contact me Gretchen Domino, the bassist. Yep the band was awesome. This song sounds a tad fast. However in the meantime...check out my new band...The Luckouts...not heavy metal but still an awesome band deserving a recotd deal...
