I did Katrina and Harvey and although I can validate your perspective. Your comment shows that your critical thought is limited and that you are (in this moment) incapable of possessing empathy. I too have struggled with this, and clearly there is some trauma that is unprocessed; causing your brain to project condescending dialogue onto the tragedies of others. There will always be those whose experiences of loss and pain outweigh your own. It is up to you to utilize those experiences of trauma to help and support those in need, not to hurt them. Be better.
